You told me that you can parry the running attack by parrying about a second before it makes contact. Works a charm. It works with normal attacks on my end too.

That reminds me, I summoned someone into my world once, and we went up the Parish stairs on NG+. He hits the Balder Knight with a Crescent Axe 2h r2. But, the Balder Knight is alive, but with low health, kind of making slow jerking movements on the floor. It was real wierd.

I forgot I mentioned that to you. What also helps me is that the distance my opponent is from me when I parry is the same for the Great Scythe running R1 as katana. Straight swords, great swords, and curved swords seem to share the running R1 parry timing as well.

Sounds like a glitch to me. You know I was using that cirno toon in the forest and I killed everyone by parrying. Just parrying them.

I finally opened the forest to farm. I need better armor. She hits average at the sl she is in but she can't take a strong hit. I also unlocked great heavy soul arrow and the claymore is +3.

The backwards rolls cause you to turn around. I really hope that's just how it is in the demo.

It is hard to do since the game is so focused on fire and that sun. Other than the hair, the claymore and the magic I really don't know how far I can go. However I know that I can use Pharis' hat.

I will most likely not dual wield if I see too many people doing it. If only a still few are doing it then I'll dual wield.
I'm already stopping dual wielding, though. I'm back into the mode of going with only a straight sword or katana in my main hand and bare handed in my off hand.

The SKSS is a boss at stunlocking. Sometimes 2 hits is all I need to deal 1000 damage with it.

The Lords Blade set looks nice for the leggings, perhaps Gwyn's bracelets or Solaire's. If I'm wearing headgear it's Pharis' hat. Torso I don't know about yet Renegade for Cirno.
