    hello all happy
    ive
    always wanted to try dual wielding shields for pvp, but im not sure if
    its worth going 30 str for bonewheel shields. anyone here who has tried
    the bonewheel,pierce and spiked shields for pvp, and can tell me what i
    should go for? guess i gotta go fire and lightning paths, but i cant decide what shields sad

    Don't take those paths unless going on shield only run. They only add physical damage, and a laughable defense in the chosen element. Once again, don't use these shields unless going on a shield only run. The damage you get from them, and the scaling shows its inclined use. 30 strength is not worth it, unless you are using it for your build.

    was planning to just use 2 shields, no other weapons. would normal upgrade be better?

    ^This would lead me to believe elemental would be better for shields. Though I'm not sure how buffs apply to shields so that might be something to also consider.

    Actually, yes, a Spiked Shield +15 is very good on a shield run. For the other, I suggest a Pierce Shield +15.

    http://mmdks.com/1pqt this would be my loadout on a standard lvl100 quality build. could prove to be very viable. 400dmg while blocking is nothing to laugh at -> leo ring double dmg could end matches really quickly. i think i'll have to try it myself now ^^

    Pierce shield +15 is where it's at.It's anti-gank viable and the hate,the hate is so delicious. big grin

    Peirce shield is an amazing weapon in some cases. There is a certain weapon class (it stats with great and ends with swords) That the Pierce shield basically hard counters when used properly.

    It routinely does more damage than my Demon's Spear with Leo. (Though Demon's AR is split so it suffers)
