The shields pages need a lot of work done. Right now, they each have their own page, with at least a template. Some of them have a bit of information filled in.

The only shields who's pages currently do not conform to the rest are:

- Black Knight Shield
- Crest Shield
- Grass Crest Shield
- Stone Greatshield
- Black Iron Greatshield
- *

I'm just a little tired of fixing shield pages for now so I thought I'd give everyone a status update so we can pursue the work together! What remains to be done is:

1. Fix the above shields' pages
2. Fill in all the information on all the pages!

Edit 2: Striked out the shields, pages have been fixed.

I'm going to take a crack at Stone Greatshield right now. After that I'm going to go back to filling in spaces of what they should be, like a fire shield not having lightning damage, thus being 0.


I'll get back to smithing next time I can get on the Xbox, I'm pretty sure I have a base of every shield now and with the pages up and knowing how to work them I'll get quicker at it.

Also the Moonlight shield page doesn't really fit with the shield style, looks more like a weapon page.

lol did you see it? Stone Greatshield was the worst offender! 1 line of text... Would have been better if the page had just not been made at all so we could have used a template at least. Thanks for volunteering, and thanks for your continued efforts.

Edit: The Crystal Ring Shield's page I didn't really bother with... All the info was already there, so I didn't want to mess up the formatting just for looks' sake.

I got the format copied but it won't copy the icons, anything you can do about that? Right now I'm just trying to make it look decent, so it's looky fairly sloppy.

Last time I used copy/ paste, the icons transferred over, but for some reason all their captions were showing and I couldn't find a way to make them go away short of deleting each individually... So I don't really know what's gonna happen when copy/ pasting.

Oh hey, I'm fixing Havel's, does the L2 buff just do physical/magical or both? I'm leaving it empty for now.

I'm really not sure... I don't think it shows up on your stats screen, is why I don't know what defense it buffs. Will need some testing to know for that one.

If I can remember I'll play with it against some stuff.

To ensure the copy and paste works well, click on "edit" on the source page (the one you intend to copy) and copy from the editor. This works well with icons n stuff

Alright, I'm up roomie should be sleeping for several more hours, back to smithing I go. With some luck I can get to doing the +14/15 upgrades today and maybe magical.

Oh does anyone cary if I copy same shield stats? Like the Tower Kite and Caduceus Kite shields are basicly the same thing, the light round shields are doing it also.

Huh, that's strange. I thought the Red & White, for example, had more magical resist than some of the other small shields. Either I'm wrong (very possible, since it's been a long time since I used and even looked at a shield, let alone a small one) or the wiki was edited wrong. Since you're asking, myself I would do them all separately, just to be sure. Once it's up on the wiki, there's so much information up there and so many different people editing it, that you have to be able to just go on trust that the information is correct. So when I add info, I only add stuff I researched. Like for the Catalysts Mag Adj, where it turned out that the Sorcerer's, Beatrice's, and Izalith Catalysts have all the same Mag Adj values; I still tested all 3 individually all the way.

So I'd say: write what you research, the rest leave blank. I'd rather have blank pages, so people will know they still need to be done, than filled-in pages that could potentially be wrong but everyone will trust are true and no one would check.

I'll run a double check and take the other two to +10, you do have a strong point.

Just noticed, on a few pages on the right hand side it says others abover the stability icon, should we change it to stability? I changed a few yesterday but right now I'm leaving it alone, better to get data in while I can and fiddle with making pages look nice when I can't.

Also Crystal versions have extremely reduced stability, I'm going to do a linebreak under normal durability and write Crystal: #. If any others show this I'll add them in the same manner.
