Guys: give me a film that is so good, my brain with have an aneurism, toes will curl and eyes will be spinning round and round.

I love experimental stuff like that. I steamed some rice for dinner last night(being a few hours ago, yay insomnia) and decided to shred some carrots, dice up some shallots, cut some spring onions up in little discs, slice up button mushrooms, get some paprika(bell peppers) and brocoli action up in there and stir fry them all up, season with salt, pepper and cayenne pepper, then get the steamed rice in there at the last moment for a quick toss. Served with chicken, itt was a glorious dinner.

It's one of those films thats so bad it's good- and it's so horrendously bad that it's utterly hilarious.

Hmmm, not sure I'm in the mood for comedy, though that films getting a mental note to watch later

Any other film suggestions, peeps?

Any kind of serious film- whether it be disturbing, interesting, slick, mindfuck etc.. Something well written.

Skare- so many choices

I do like me some movies.
Just watched The Man With the Iron Fists. That does not go on my recommended list.

Hearts In Atlantis does though

Oh god, that's definitely one I need to watch at some point..

I'm a bit hesitant with films that old.. I almost get the feeling that they get said to be best films ever just so critics keep their pretentious pedestals- I mean I watched 2 films recently- Psycho and Vertigo, and while I enjoyed both, why they're seen as so amazing is beyond me. They're good, but that's all.. Modern acting, camera work etc. is just far better :|

Saw looper couple of weeks ago- good film, didn't expect the ending was a nice slap in the face surprise.

And the prestige- hugh jackman being a good actor for once

Hmmm I'm torn between big fish and argo to be honest... either of you seen both?

yeah, seen book of eli, was ok.

I was also shocked by Hugh there. David Bowie was excellent as always.

I'm a big Russell Crowe fan so Gladiator, 3:10 to Yuma, Robin Hood was better than expected, The Insider is awesome

Also Kilmer fan but he's a gem in some horrible movies so I'll only recommend Heat and The Salton Sea

Haven't seen Argo. Heard lots of good things though
