About the level gap Empty About the level gap

Im new. So I was playing dark souls one day and i was level 135 on NG+ and i was farming seath for souls as a coop partner, then i get summoned by someone and i noticed i was getting crap for souls and noticed i was in playthrough 1 and after i kicked the crap out of seath i asked him what level he was and he responded level 77. I was obviously confused cause i thought the gap was supposed to be within 10%.

First of all, welcome to the forums happy
Acording to the wiki the level range to do co-op is: (your level) + 10 + 15%
So I think that you got summoned because of a bug in the servers or something like that.

Welcome to the forums, and Leonardo is right. Also I think that if there are no other players avaible at all, the server will sometimes match players of very different levels together to support multiplayer.

Djem is correct as well. I have been matched up to a sl712 at sl80 before.
