Anyone else remember this guy?

Well, he seemingly went a few months without sleep posting constantly on the old forums. He's probably just making up lost time or something :|

Maybe you should just PM emergence or Fex since they'll know what happened to him? probably just too busy now or something.

A lot of folks had the new forums blocked at work/school too

some people made a page just for him on the old forums

it said he was an AI designed to answer any question about dark souls

...maybe he was kidnapped by the old members of the forums and now they're trying to make him become one :O

I suppose I could do that...I'm not necessarily concerned, just curious.

But yeah, I don't blame anybody who takes a break. It's just been a helluva break is all, and I dunno, he was just friendly, helpful and had a sweet avatar.

Adventure Time...currently the only rival to Ponies...

If he does come back, I just hope is awesome Finn avatar doesn't start a sub-community of AT enthusiasts. It's alot easier for some to join the AT groups without shame than it is to admit to being a brony, and it's hard enough finding fellow bronies here as it is

Fair enough, but if you play Dark Souls and aren't a fan of Adventure Time (but are cognizant of it), I don't understand you as a human being, and perhaps even doubt your humanity.

I seriously think characters and episodes are directly lifted from Demon's and Dark Souls. Not in a plagiarizing way, merely in inspiration and creativity (there is DEFINITELY an Old Monk episode).

I wondered that as well. He actually went quiet prior to the new forums, we hope to get him back soon.

I enjoy AT quite a lot actually, but I can't say I follow it closely enough to remember too many of the episodes in detail (though there are a few standout ones like the Royal Tart Toter and the Fiona and Cake episodes). I seem to remember a gladiator style episode where Finn was brainwashed into a battlecraze against Jake, so maybe that's the Old Monk styled episode you were thinking of?

OT: As much as I fear the rise of MLP:FiM's rival community, I'd still really like to see Siarii back in action. He didn't even take the StriksBH way out and left somewhat of a reason for his leaving, he just kinda stopped posting :|

Had something to do with figuring out who the Sunlight Altar statue actually was supposed to be. Apparently when he discovered it he felt so let down as to who it was he quite literally ragequit Dark Souls without letting us know what he found out.

To be honest I think there are none who could be 'idiotic' and be leader of sunbros. He just wanted to go out making a thread to get people talking.

Honestly the statue's spear very closely resembles the Dragonslayer Spear.

Gwyn is the leader of the Sunbros...how else would his sunlight spears be bestowed via the covenant?

But yeah, Siarii was cool.

never seen an episode of AT, what exactly is it about? and i remember that thread, sounded like he went hollow.

You can actually see the head of the statue there in the rubble, didn't look like anyone special to me. But the larger point is that you're not praying to the statue, you're praying to the sun itself in the background. Rotating the camera behind your back makes this perfectly obvious, as does the dialogue you have with Solaire if you meet him at the altar. You're just using that old shattered statue as the platform for it, and in fact one could argue the fact that the statue is broken means you're clearly not praying to whoever it was (and could even be celebrating its destruction).

Trying to say what Adventure Time is about is similar to trying to say what Family Guy is about. It's not really "about" anything, just the random [mis]adventures of the main cast.
