Favorite Mythological creature?
All mythologies count. My favorite is by far the griffin. Eagles mixed with lions are awesome.

Harpies.
Women have to wear clothes. Women with wings that screech don't have to wear clothes. Big time win.

I'd have to go with the Liger. It's pretty much my favorite animal. It's like a lion and a tiger mixed, bred for it's skills in magic.

I really love the Carbuncle! A Latin American squirrel with a jewel on its head that hypnotizes people with said jewel. Whats not to love!?

It took me like 3 hours to finish the shading on the upper lip. It's pretty much the best drawing I've ever done.

I see that you were heavily inspired by the Mona Lisa. Now we have...the Mona Liger!

Re: Favorite Mythological creature?
Probably the Succubus/Incubus combo. I've always found it very entertaining how religious officials and even a pope claimed they could summon and command these demons. I've always found it a bit funny too how in their older versions they aren't really even seen as evil. Then later they're just temptation. These days, they kill people they have sex with for some reason. It's the only case I can think of off the top of my head where the modern version is less sexualized.
Plus the whole concept of their existence has always been entertaining to me. The idea that demons have similar body parts to us, yet they requires our genetics to have offspring. Plus the old tales of Incubus suffocating people in their sleep has always been a fairly terrifying image. All in all the mythos around them is just very rich.

I'm gonna go with Vampires. The whole nightshift thing is pretty darn awesome. That and the throwing fireballs out of their capes, with the occasional meteor.

Vampires. There's one with a bass guitar in Adventure Time, therefore making them utterly amazing and all should be gods.
