School Bus? Why, that reminds me of one of my favorite scenes from Hobo With a Shotgun. Great movie by the way.

I saw the commercial for that movie when I was watching Rubber. Looks like a movie I would like to watch.

Sidenote: Tolvo you might like the movie Rubber.

I've seen Rubber, I loved and hated it. I liked the movie if not for one thing...


NO REASON! I didn't like the movie because of no reason.

***, I was fine with things being nonsensical, I loved that about the movie. But every ten minutes a character breaking the wall and going, "Why did this happen? No reason, let me explain why there was no reason." I liked that movie broke the fourth wall at times, I liked that it was people watching a **** movie, the whole joke. That dumb no reason stuff utterly ruined the movie for me. If they cut it out it would definitely be a classic in my book.

I think it was just explaining why Robert came to life, as in there was no reason for him to and if there was reason it wouldn't make the least bit of sense. They spared us plot holes that we would have picked a part in the first couple of minutes and went straight to the comedy because that's what they wanted to show. To put any explanation behind why Robert came to life probably would have just ruined it for the viewer and they knew it when they were coming up with the concept of the film.

I didn't want any explanation for why Rubber came to be, I wasn't going to pick apart plot wholes.

It's like if while watching inception, the director would stop the film and point to characters and go, "Yo, that **** was deep! When that was written, everyone was impressed with how smart that was. Okay go back to watching."

They did put explanation behind rubber, No Reason. Everything had an explanation, no reason. Rather than just letting you watch the movie and enjoy it, they had to keep reminding you that there was no reason. I realized that from watching the trailer.

Ah, I thought you didn't like it for the origination of Robert, sorry.

It never bothered me when they would stop and remind me that there was no reason behind the plot, it did get a little grating after a while but I was able to ignore it.

I'm going to have to pick up Hobo with a Shotgun tomorrow and see how good that movie is.

The only thing about Hobo is that it starts a bit slow, once it starts going things are very entertaining.

Yeah I couldn't ignore the No Reason being shoved in my face so often.

I've been through some incredibly bad movies (Titanic: The Legend Goes On... ), so I can handle if a movie starts out slow.

Oh! The thing I was hoping was a discussion on garbage plates. I still want a full blown discussion on garbage plates. Ahhh.....Rochester, NY; where hot sauce is something that is mostly meat.

Well it's only a plate if you eat at the downtown Nick Tahou's location. Otherwise it's a styrofoam container, regardless of whether you plan to take the food to go or sit down in the restaurant. At least that's they way it was when I used to frequent there. Between the grease, ground meat and other things, it could get pretty dirty but of course you'd try to eat it all to clean up.

I've been invited to a cosplay event, and been told I NEED to dress up.



Which dark souls character should I go as? Solaire?

Solaire is too obvious, dress up as one of the fatty demons.
