I didn't want any explanation for why Rubber came to be, I wasn't going to pick apart plot wholes.
It's like if while watching inception, the director would stop the film and point to characters and go, "Yo, that **** was deep! When that was written, everyone was impressed with how smart that was. Okay go back to watching."
They did put explanation behind rubber, No Reason. Everything had an explanation, no reason. Rather than just letting you watch the movie and enjoy it, they had to keep reminding you that there was no reason. I realized that from watching the trailer.
