I think it was Pendant who said an icicle that was bent by wind would make a good photograph. Well, here ya go.... Not as drastically bent as I've seen but you can tell that the wind was up and down a few times yesterday forming this guy since it has a few warps and even some split off icicles thanks to wind

Gonna be a foodie kinda night. My wife is a salt lover and her birthday was coming up. I saw a deal for Himalayan salt blocks. Apparently you can cook on them and it's awesome. So I found an even better deal on them and got some. Rather than wait for her birthday we're using them tonight. Just got done heating two (bought four) to prep them as the cooking set. Felt weird placing a brick on the stove top and heating it. Will see how awesome it is or not tonight

Do report your findings Skare, it sounds quite interesting, though I'm not a big fan of salt.

Supposedly they don't add a ton. I tried a small piece that broke off and the mineral profile adding to the flavor is quite good.. When they're heating and cooling they make cracking and tinkling noises that remind me of the Crystal Cave

The verdict on the salt slab is in. Effing awesome. I added nothing to the food, just let it sizzle on the salt. Did beef, onions, peppers and mushrooms. It's hard to do a lot of food since the blocks lose some heat but I was able to do about a pound of thin sliced beef, a whole pepper, and about another cup between the mushrooms and onions. Flavor i amazing. They did come out a little more salty than expected but supposedly you can cook with oil which reduces that. Recorded the cooling sound. Will check it later tonight to see if the Crystal Cave sound came through

Turning into a wooden stick was never the easiest thing to do in my life as a human but I was able to do it.

I had to climb all the way up to the tallest tree I could find and pretend to be a branch, once I had felt ready to become my own stick I jumped off the tree and broke a few ribs. A few people took me to the hospital, even though I protested not to, and they said I would need surgery. It didn't matter though, as my process of turning into a beautiful stick were soon to be completed. After the surgery I just stood there in the parking lot because they didn't want me. As a stick I feel my duty is inform you all that Ferngully 4 is coming out in theaters.

Tonight I just awoke to what I thought were footsteps nearby on the tiled floor in my house. Everyone else is upstairs and asleep. If I don't log on again, well I may be dead. I hope I'm just hearing nothing, I hope. But I'm terrified, living downstairs alone in the darkness crippled. I don't want to die.
