I think the SL55 cap is great for these kind of events. I have enjoyed both of them so far. To those not seeing enough room to build....I won fights using four different weapon setups Saturday night. Fury Sword/Bloodshield, two hand Silver Knight Spear, two hand Chaos Scythe and two hand Iaito. I saw alot of interesting builds from other people as well.

My 55 is not going anywhere. I love it.

Yes my Havel build actually went well considering I havent played in 5 months.

I don't have the balls to go fat roll with a club build Dough. I can do mid rolling tanks, a Zweih should work.

I have a pretty sick fast rolling Zwei build, scaling, at SL50. Doesn't sacrifice all that much, especially not if I use the MoM. Not maximum damage but more than enough.

With the SL55 cap, Obsidian Greatsword will rule the day

Not really. I can make a Manserpent GS build without points into Dex and 27 Str, and it'll have more than 40 more AR. Not that there's anything wrong with the OGS, but scaling still wins for Str.

Fat roll is the ultimate secret weapon. People mistime it and you can easily roll r1 their BS attempts. Just whack on Havels shield to make up for it

I took the quickest of run throughs with this for shiggles. I didn't mess with armor, because you can swap out to get fastroll at 53 on your own easily. It's a bit of an unorthodox build but basically if you have to have that beefy buff you'll have to live and die with it and have an elemental backup. To be honest that's almost how a powerful buff should be; element of risk reward otherwise you're stacking power on power. Should be enough end to get the job done, with grass shield. 1300 hp not awful at this ledge either. Not perfect but it's a start.

Yeah cosplay would be great and as Dough proved, if Havel's can be done at 55 then anything can mostly be pulled off.
