Seriously though, whenever you co-op, it's best to assume that your host is a new guy. They will make silly mistakes, we all do, but give them time and they will improve. You may not be there to see the results of their improvement, but most will and it will be thanks to phantoms such as yourself. Invaders also have valuable lessons to teach hosts, they may not be nice about it, but there are lessons to be learned from them. Like you said, you don't really have anything to lose if the host dies. So if the host dies, just put down you're summon sign again, or don't, but I guarantee most will get better, and I'm sure most will be very thankful to all the phantoms that helped them along the way. You just have to give them time.

But seriously, as a white/gold phantom, it's your job to follow around the host and help to the best of your abilities. Even if the host might be incompetent.

However, my job as a red phantom is to make them fear the message "Dark Spirit (name here) Has Invaded!" every time it shows up.

Though the phantom is supposed to help the host ensure his/her safety even if the does something bad. Nothing wrong with trying to help the same person a few times because really what is bad about it?

As the invader I'm going to hunt you and the host down. Likely you because I like 1v1 duels with some honor and killing you first puts fear in the host.

Though your list as a white/gold phantom sounds very similar to police seaches in halls and rooms of building they are not familiar with.

Bah Wrath of God is one of the most annoying spells that even if you are not going near he can still he you through the walls which is really annoying and can't blame people for that because certain walls when facing a direction you can see right through them so its impossible to always avoid cheap shots.

Its against new players. I was just frustrated because it happened like 5 times in a row with like 5 people. And its so frustrating not being able to scream at them saying "no wait hes around the damn corner" as i watched them explode in a violent splatter of blood and stupidity and usually its not game mastery but just kind of being careless. I would think people who co op alot by level 65 or so would have been ganked a fair amount of times enough to know that people dont usually fight fair. Not saying im amazing at pvp myself but id rather die in a good fight than die because of a cheap shot or doing something stupid. I mean forgetting your invader is still in your world is pretty bad...
