Re: Brony Thread
Look at me. I'm 10 years your senior, yet I still play games, if not as much as I used to. I still manage fairly well in life. I still don't see your motivation to quit gaming, no offense. I'm sure you could have got better, but if it isn't your game, then fair enough. Anyway, back to my previous question, what is your motivation to quit gaming?

Dayum. Did you go all Unarmed 100 on his ***? Or do what I do, get 100% Magicka regeneration gear per cast, and be able to use infinite spells?
Edit: Did you know you could do that? I found out by accident.

Re: Brony Thread
I spend so much time just sitting on my butt and playing Video Games, so i figured "Am i that stupid to waste my time like this ? When i could have go out out with my Friends ?" i had to sacrifice my friends to Video Games since i was addicted to them .
I just let my friendships wither away like that for those stupid games .
So i came to the conclusion that i offered enough of my life to Video Games .
Its all my own fault i really have to take this drastic step .

I stuck my Daedric metal fist up it's a-ss and killed it. Not actually but I did punch the living sh-t out of it.
Ever since someone showed me that video, I've been fisting my enemies. Take that how ever you will.

Re: Brony Thread
Oh, ok. I now see your point,, and I must say, respect it. I, somehow, still keep in contact with my friends, regardless of playing games about 3 hours steady a day. So, I don't want to sound offensive, but your number of friends has withered? Because of playing games a lot? Ok, I see that point, but is this the same case as your ex-girlfriend? You and your friends just kind of faded away, since you were playing too many games?

Re: Brony Thread
My social skills suffered from it too so i wasn't a fun person to be around you know ?
And it was just like that, i chose Video Games over friends when shaping my free time .
I didnt even play for more than 4 hours a day so it wasnt like i was playing for 11 hours straight .
Now my ex-Girlfriend is another Story we both just figured we weren't made for each other, no dispute or anything .
I think i should stop spamming my life story

No, I'll be honest, I find you are an interesting person, and fun to talk to. Your social skills, in my opinion, are just fine here. Or do you mean in face-to-face conversation, your social skills degraded? And I don't see how 4 hours a day stopped contact with your friends. I also find your 'spamming life story' an intriguing story as well. I think you're being too hard on yourself. And I'm glad these things were solved without disputes, they just make the matter very bitter afterwards.

Re: Brony Thread
Can't really explain it, it's just that i dont know how to keep conversation going and how to talk to Kids for example .
And i'm also highly introverted never talking about myself (sounds cliche but thats how it is) so people often don't know what to make of me and that makes me even more insecure when talking to others .
Its kind of weird actually, i'm a carny so i interact with strangers all day tell them stories, make them laugh .
But thats just an act i put on for our business .
So yeah, if i want to i can talk all day but it's just not me talking...
God i feel like 16 Yo emo kid again

Re: Brony Thread
I don't really like talking about myself either, yet here, I, for some reason, feel much more secure than in the real world. Also, I would say not being able to talk to kids properly is more a real world thing, as the majority here are over 16. I have always found myself able to fit in with younger kids, as wierd as it sounds, around the age of 13. They see me as someone older, with more experience, who is much cooler than their wierd friends they mostly don't really like. By not just you talking, do you mean your personality here is just a front? Because I still find you a likeable person to talk to, and I hope I could still say that if you ever revealed your true personality, although that sounds just plain strange of me, and I'm sure you won't want to.
Edit: This thread has gotten very dark, hasn't it?
2nd edit: Thanks for linking the download to FiM. My friend plays it, and thinks it's great, and so do I!

Nah, here i'm just myself . No act needed .
After all on the Interent nobody knows that you're a Dog .
I can act cool around teens and shut them up when they're getting cheecky (and the fact that i'm rather sturdy really helps ) .
It's perhaps the fact that you're 29, play Video Games (things Teenagers like) and still be an experienced mature person .
Its plain old respect .
Glad they enjoy Ponies beating the **** out of each other

Re: Brony Thread
I'll be honest, I was completely surprised when they said how much fun it was. Me and them still find the controls difficult to remember. And, yes, I may be 29, and married next year, but I still have my teenage side in me, and as such, like you said, am able to make friends with them quite easily. I am seen as mature for my age by my peers, as most people my age like to get wasted every night, and have terrible grammar. I spent time between 13 and 16 refining all aspects of my grammar in any way possible. I also can't help but feel that there is some kind of respect, for some reason. I would consider you an adult, since you are the past of 18, and therefore, are a mature, grown man to me. That thought makes me able to think of you and anyone else like that in this way; "This person is mature, and therefore, they are good people to me." And it's good to know there's no act here, making me see you as an honest person to me. I would have definitely not have been tricked into believing someones false personality.

Re: Brony Thread
I also have to work on my (english) grammar .
Now that i look at my last post i want to punch myself .
Teens these days don't want to be looked down upon. They want to be respected too .
So if they see an Adult like you enjoying the same things they do it gives them positive feedback .
A quick question about grammar :
Do you always capitalize nouns in England ?
In Germany we do .

Re: Brony Thread
I'm sorry for the late reply. Yes, in England/rest of the UK, we always capitalize nouns, and we both know that a noun is the name of an animal or creature, or anything of the like.

Bravo, Marino! Bravo! This has been some of the best reading I've had on here in a while.
As for the capitalization thing, no. We capitalize what are called "proper nouns."

I just remembered how cute Fluttershy is after watching "Fluttershy's Lament" again. Actually it just reminds me that I need to pick up watching this show again, I've just been watching nothing but NC for the past few weeks.

Grin? Hmm? We need an answer. Our insatiable need for the truth/enlightenment is keeping me on edge far more than I normally want.
