I hate Fable, not the first one but the other two. I absolutely hate the third one, it was probably one of the worst RPG games I've played to date. I drew the line though, when they put the black dye as DLC. I mean seriously, wasn't everyone waiting for that as DLC in Fable 2?

It should have already been on Fable 3 when you bought it.

There is only 1 fable. I don't know what people are talking about when they say fable 2 or fable 3. Some kind of mass delusion.

Pfft, I never played the first one but the second was fun enough. mind you I know people who have said that about final fantasy 13 and didnt understand because they were not prior fans. I guess its the same scenario here.

oh god don't get me started on FF13, square are lucky ill give them another chance when they release versus 13 and 15.. depending obviously on the reviewer feedback.

Well, Final Fantasy is dead to me .

10-2 was weird but had a good Combat system but after that...
I never heard of 11, didnt like 12 and feel asleep during 13 and i didnt even bother with 13-2 because of 13 .

Maybe its just Nostalgia for 7-10 or i'm getting old or those Games are really just bad (maybe all three?)

I thought XII was pretty good actually, it's world system and seamless battle transition was a huge step, and I felt the gambit systems were just enough control. You can set everything to auto for menial battles or set up a battle plan, then take control if you need to change things up.

I admit though the story was one if the weaker ones, but enough to keep me interested. Though why they chose to not utilise Balthier as the main character and anti hero in a different story I really don't know.

I do consider 12 to be a Good FF, dont worry .

I just couldnt get into it .
Plus from what i heard you had to farm a lot and that it was sooo long so that was a turn off too

Or i just grew out of my J-RPG phase where i would drool all over 17 YO People with oh so great deep Emotional Problems while their Girlfriend from old times humps his leg without him noticing while dressed like a Tw@t and having stupidly large hair and swinging a disjointed Airplane Wing as a Weapon around

The only FF games i've played are 10, 11 and 13.
10 is definitely my favorite out of those three. I can't remember much about 11 and 13 is just ****.

I have watched every cutscene in Metal Gear Solid 4 which made me realize just how bad the Story is written

Spur i strongly recommend that you play Final Fantasy 9 .
Its my favorite FF Game because the Story had so much soul and all the Characters were loveable (but lacked Development) and the Gameplay is fun too and there are a fe fun Minigames and aaafhhh just Play it already !

12 was fun even if I didnt really use the gambits xD call me a control freak but meh. 13 was an abomination however.

12 was a good game, though for some reason whenever I try to bring it up it get's shot down for the older ones. I did make a good move avoiding 13, linear games tend to slide by for me. I need to ask does Lighting seem like the mature, serious, or overall better version of Cloud or is that jus me?

Cloud wasnt a fun Character to me in the first place .
And the fact that he is posing for Zack for pretty much te whole Game and that Zack is the more interesting Character doesnt make it better

yea Square Enix confirmed that Lightning is actually a female version of cloud.

13 had an interesting combinations of soundtrack with graphics, but I didn't liked the gameplay

12 was fun. All those side quests gave me many headaches

12 bored me. The story was too weak.

I liked the story (though not sazh, hope or snow) in 13, but I don't like the battle system.

8 and 10 (but not tidus) are my favorites.

Its such a pity 10 had such a ******* for a protagonist. (okay and wakka, if not moreso) but I digress. so many people discount it for that.

Nah. very little farming that I remember. then again I hardly had a maxed team. I just beat the plot

Yes.

To clarify, I have no respect for anyone (fictional or otherwise) who so regularly looses control. Its ok here or there, but tidus is in a whiney, emo meltdown state for 2/3rds of the game and the rest of the time he's just annoying.

For the record, squall and yuna are my favorites.

Oh how i hated almost all characters in 13, none of them feel "special" or "original, and most of them are just annoying.

10 had the most interesting story IMO, (my facts might be a bit off now, it has been a while since i played it) The whole religion mess and how it all was exposed later on.

He wasn't my least favorite character (Lulu) , but he wasn't my favorite character either (Kimahri).

I'm also on the Tidus was whiny bandwagon. A lot of the main characters are so so in FF games. The supporting cast and villains usually make it worthwhile. Except in 13. Nothing made that worthwhile.

I like Lulu. Lulu is exacting, methodical, direct and caring. These are all good things.

Kill bill is resting, unless you're acting out the fight scenes, but that would be weird.

^ Yeah, I feel the same way as both of you. Disliked Tidus, really like Lulu. I liked Auron and Khimari too.

I think Terra and Ramza are probably the only FF main characters I truly like.
