So the 1st time i played skyrim i crushed it in 2-3 weeks did all the trophys on 2 different psn accounts with all the extra stuff like dragon masks and shouts done. Then inner ring of the disc cracked breaking the game most probably because i was on it too much  mean just probably!

The dlc **** also pissed me off a bit but now that i can get skyrim for under £15 i decided to whipe the dust from my xbox and play it...

any ideas for a unique rpg build or just play style i had 2 axes last time :| ? also any info on 'Dragonborn' that **** out tomorrow right??

I know this is a bit off topic, but speaking of naming characters, I started playing Dragon's Dogma last night, and if you know how that game works, you create a non-controllable ally character, who basically is shared with anyone on the network who wants to use them. So I named mine something particularly humorous, especially in combination with the way I visually designed them. Between last night and this morning when I got up, which was about 6 hours, I've gotten 24 friend requests on the PSN. All people laughing about it or throwing me puns relating to it. Cracks me up.

I kept trying to get back into Skyrim a couple of weeks ago, but I just can't because there isn't anything new to do in the game. After making three level 60's I've gotten a bit bored of the game, not to mention I've completely given up on the DLC ever being released for the PS3.

Maybe one day I might start it up again. Also if you want an interesting gameplay style pick a Khajit and go through the whole game only using your fists.

Have they not announced when that's going to happen yet?

They might not release the DLC until 2013 from what I've heard.

Either way it is a good idea to take Skyrim slowly because just running through it kind of ruins the game. Sneak is still a lot of fun to do seeing as there are so many bandits to snipe off of roofs with a bow.big grin

It honestly amazes me how I can play the exact same character type (stealth with blades) over and over in any TES game and love it. I've been playing skyrim for the last 2 weeks and have been enjoying it again. Havent got any DLC though.

I want to get back into Skyrim too. In fact I want to be able to play ANY game other than Dark Souls but until I get that Platinum I'm doomed to walk the abyss.

What do you need for the platinum, Slake?

I would finish Skyrim, but I borrowed it from a friend and have since returned it. I kept getting distracted with all the map markers (I would have this urge to go discover everything before actually questing).

I would finish it too, but my main quest is glitched at Odahviig (whatever that dragon you trap at Dragonsreach is called).

I probably have to start over. :|

Skyrim was horrible on the PS3, but I started playing it on XBox about a week ago. What inspired me was this (NSFW/language warning):

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhBiNx749Zw

I usually just crank alchemy/enchanting/smithing and make an uber archer, but pummeling people to death with hyper-upgraded daedric gauntlets, unarmed damage boost gear, and a bunch of heavy armor perks has been hilarious. I totally wrestled a mammoth.

I've always found making Hide Helmets a lot easier/faster than Iron Daggers.

I used to make leather bracers because they're super easy but everywhere I looked people recommended daggers so I just switched to them.

Yeah, I tried both but one cuts out the hassles of having to have ingot; which makes me prefer the leather straps method more.

transmuting iron to make jewelry works well too. I usually do a combination of that and daggers. If you do transmute then you also level alteration pretty quickly, allowing you to gain levels for perks in other things, and you can sell jewelry for a lot more, both gaining you a sizable amount of money and increasing your merch skill too.

haha yeah money is good, but really once you're smithing you don't need money as you can just make everything. I couldn't be bothered finding the transmute spell for this char, especially since they only had 100 magicka.

It's right near whiterun. Actually a pickup that's part of a quest you get there anyway. Money's always helpful. Whether you're buying equipment or not. I, for example, don't usually bother with alchemy, so I generally buy all my health potions. Which can cost a lot
