    s'cuse me, when i said remove extraneous catalysts i meant, make them not extraneous, give them special properties:D

    what i think would be cool would be a spell that grows a blade from the catalyst, different catalyst different weapon type the spell makes

    I'm a huge GS user too Zakk, and I disagree with you. I use them in Dark, and somewhat in Demon's. silly

    oh ma gawd a spell that makes the catalyst a sword big grin yes ... yes please please please make it do so much magic damage and have different types of weapons appear each time or make it customizable OR change the weapon that appears with the catalyst

    Dagger critical damage. I feel this is pretty ridiculous. I understand giving daggers an edge to make them somewhat appealing. However, the realism in a backstab from a dagger fails in comparison when a 4 foot long blade is shoved through your chest.....

    Upgrade paths/useful weapons. +15 is pretty much unmatched leaving the other upgrade paths far inferior despite them having an equal ar rating. Really doesnt help variety unless those paths had extra incentives. Weapon variety is also abundant but usefullness not so much. Nearly everyone uses the same 5-7 weapons just because they outclass everything else by far.

    Bring back hard dark phantoms. In demons souls in pure black vs miralda or sasuki your a** would get handed to you quite easily. Dark souls unless you get the very rare gravelord this challenge is absent. Just seems wrong not to have these major threats lurking in the game.

    The Darksign. Where the hell is it located on the player's body?! I know there is something weird on your chest on hollow form, but that ain't no Darksign my friend.

    As far as 'blade-sprouting catalyst'-this is generally a low magic universe. Think for a moment-does something that gaudy and flashy really belong in Souls? I think not.

    i think its just what hardcore magic users need the new directors want to make it more action like and fast paced they practically made mages into battle mages from demon's to dark souls any ways so why not ? if its a sequel you'd think that magic users would become more adept to the harsh living and battles by creating such magic, or if its a prequel it could be a lost art ?
