Thoughts on BK Sword

Started using last nite, I see some people using, but not alot, (I'm talking about the 8 weight one). I quite like it.

It's funny the 1st three people I vade after starting to use were also using it.

The r2s of BK weapons seem to get faster with high dex, so i would suggest that you use on a quality build if you wont to use them.
I've never used it that much, the only "special" thing about it is the r2s.

Really, i will try on my quality to see if r2s faster.

I haven't done any "real" testing, but the r2s of the BK weapons seem to be a lot faster on toons with high dex.

its pretty good but its reach is not that good, try the bk halberd, love that thing.

the BK Sword broke my first play through. i got it off a Knight in the old Asylum, upgraded it to +3 and then +4 shortly after. from that moment on every single boss fight was met with the "rush in and spam R1" strategy.


its a good weapon, but there are other better Great swords.

But I made up for it by using nothing but the Bandit's Knife on my second playthrough. (Not the most underpowered weapon... but compared to a BKS, it is!)

It is alright.

If you get the BK Halberd or BK Greatsword to drop they are far more fun to use in my opinion.

I had a black knight ultra greatsword drop on my very first ever character.
I loved ultra greatswords ever since.

I remember when I first got a Black Knight Sword. I thought if I just got my strength high enough my guy would be able to carry it normal instead of lugging it over his shoulder. Seems amazing to me now that I thought that.

Actually, I thought the same thing... because it's true with most other weapons. We tend to swing weapons similarily to how NPC's do. The Black Knight Greatsword works that way, but the Black Knight Sword swings competely differently then any of the black knights use it.
