I buy the items that i think i need It's worked well so far.

This duel will probably be decided with player skill and not champion power

Or my impatience and towerdiving

1. I don't really care, though all of my favorite champions so far have been AP (Anivia, Malzahar and Brand, but i haven't played much with Brand yet).

Sorry that I'm kinda late answering, but I'm actually going to suggest Nunu. Nunu is usually played as a support, but I find his top lane to be incredibly strong. Build him some early AP and your snowballs will hurt like hell allowing you to push your opponent around, as well as being a very safe move to use against your opponent due to it being a ranged ability. Just auto-attack the minions for farming and to build up your passive, using your Q to heal up as you trade with your opponents and having your passive to help you with mana issues. Midgame is also where his ultimate (with some of AP) really shines.

Well... Darius is horrendously broken. First game with him went 26/4/12 in a 1v2 lane against another Darius and a Yorick.

Strangely enough we nearly did. we had them down to two players and we had 3. sadly we threw it with a stupid move. That match was one hell of a roller coaster though.

Carried that game so hard.

Not much of a snowball game but one I shall ever be proud of.


So the story behind why I am proud of this game goes like this. Garen was a troll and after calling top insisted on bot lane. teemo was trying that bot lane thing that teemos sometimes do and insisted he should bot lane (I was supposed to be support) It hit 2 minutes and neither of them had budged so I went top against cho. (much to the incredulity of my entire team)

They had 2 ganks from the jungler which I sucessfully survived both of. picked up mejais and tear early got lots of assists. got fed. my first death was at around 35 minutes after our entire team had attempted to rush the base turrets and kill them under it. I walked off and started pushing top. I think that was my only major mistake other than a few missed skillshots.

Considering the fact garen and teemo were at each others throats all game I think I did rather well

I wish I had that LB game where I have 20 stacks of mejai's and like 600 AP. If I saw it...it died.

AD Carry? Melted. AP Carry? Dead. You need support...I killed her too. Your tank got lucky as I'm on CD's.

@Quarik: Darius isn't broken. Very strong? Yeah, but he can be counter-picked so darn hard. Usually in the situation you described Darius should not have stood a chance....I assume the other two were incredibly stupid. All Yorick had to do was poke and hard engage when you got yanked....then again they need to have that kind of intelligence.

Leona was a flamer! ashe blamed lag for everything (apparently 20 fps is lag?)
Lee sin tried to teamplay, nobody warded. (admittedly I didnt either, my bad)
Oh and cho begged for everyone other than me to be reported.

Why does Leona not have a sightstone? Such a key item.

And this is why I have been picking Rengar to solo-top...

It is blatant that Lee Sin cannot carry retarded teams... I destroyed 6 towers during that lee sin game. I killed 3 Barons, all of the dragons and in teamfights I was the only dude focusing the squishies... My team gets bursted down and I escape frequently. They wonder why we lost. Their team learnt to focus only me in the end as I was the only true threat to them... I HAD TAKEN THEIR TEAM DOWN. THEY HAD ONLY ONE NEXUS TOWER LEFT! Our team threw the game completely. I will play Lee Sin as my go to jungler, but... Top Lane. Rengar. Completely destroyed Morde top lane last game and I carried our team to victory. Almost got a penta. MF took last two kills with her ulti xD

Eh. I still dont like sightstones lol. give me 5 wards I can place at once (or better yet a jungler who wards)

Ugh, not a good evening of ranked for me. twice I had teams where we won every single lane but due to not forming up (or warding and eventually I did try and talk to them about it) we got trashed teamfight phase and lost.

Paraphrased but that was exactly how it bloody went. had 2 who thought they were 1 man armies that game (against a shaco and teemo too.. can you say pick off the loner?)

The second one we actually had 5 towers and they had none. and yet they consistently picked us off, (team picking dumb fights. there were never any wards in their supps inv)

In Dota you can screw with team mates by killing them if they're low on health, or keep sending them back to base and stuff. Thats the ONLY reason I preffer to play Dota

And... My first game playing as a support I carry my team to victory. I basically was the leader giving callouts etc; when dragon was respawning. When to kill it - fed my carry also. I called when we should be in the teamfights and when we shouldn't to my carry. We had split push two lanes bot and top to Inhibitors and got those. We had them to their tier 3 mid turret when they surrendered... Lets just say me and MF carried that game hard. I also warded at start to check for invade. (Explorers ofc) I had 3 wards to start with so also went and warded Skarner's wraiths, so shaco could counterjungle easily. When I told my teammates this was my first time support they said '*** off is it nunu' xD

The issue with Nid is that it's exceptionally easy to dodge spears, but they definitely do more damage than snowballs.
