Why are everyone over leveled as f*ck?

I have been invading on lvl 100 constantly at the Township for a week now and about 8/10 players are super high level....I mean what is up with that? I didn't have this problem when 120 was still a thing, but now it seems everyone is considerably higher level (at least 150-300 sometimes even higher) I don't mind if I have to fight guys higher than me SOMETIMES, but all the time...are people really too scared to play at lower levels now a days?
Has arena brought this nasty side effect? do you have same kind of experiences when invading?

At least you get games, my Dark Souls experience is dead.

This would really be a shame because I don't want to fight with a toon that is 5 builds ar the same time. I want my opponent to have a weakness and strenght like I do, not all strenght.

I know the feel, bro. Ever since I started invading in the Township I had to deal with nearly everyone being level 200 or higher. That's due to the 200 bracket in the arena I suppose. The only 100's - 120's I see now are people that are fairly known in PvP or some of my friends.

I don't see the problem with over-leveled people.
They usually know that they won't see much coop but it gives challenge to invaders.

I think people just don't care About capping, specially gankers since they know invaders invade up.

It's my anti-gank build that I use in the forest and against ganks in the township. I built it for the Abyss Greatsword and just use it for a change. Dueling with it is a tad OP but thats not what the build is for.

with the Arena bracket being 101-200 i have a feeling most Current SL120s started to level their way up to SL200.

IMO, there's nothing wrong with having a high level build. I have a level 250 forest hunter who was my first playthrough... I wanna eventually max him out- but at a certain point there really are diminishing returns... I still get owned all the time, and I like that I don't have to make a new build to try out different styles and weapons....

ivee been playing H4 a lot is PvP really that bad now?

Also, sometimes there are stat editors, which are easy to spot since when you kill them they don't give the amount of souls their builds look like they should give...

It just sucks that there is no go-to level for PvP anymore.

The majority of people diet care About the cap, most people we're fighting on sl 130's which is just enough to fight with people that capped at sl 120. You saw his a lot in the burg and now that they raised the cap to 200 people are hosting on high sl specially gankers which have always hosted on their sl 600.

PvP level caps are more or less self imposed anymore...personally I love my SL100 build for dueling and won't change it. And if I happen to run into a higher level usually I still come out on top.

Knocking up some peeps with my sl100 DEx build.

most of the high levelers i've met (a lot of them) were rather inept... a few were good (the gravelords in particular) but most just spammed r1 resulting in a hornet parry on my part... even the gank squads aren't up to snuff... only 2 people when 3 are avaliable no one standing behind the red spawn point and no one using wog or pursuers seriously did they fail gank class?

The same goes for me. I just find myself blaming my losses on the other person's level at times rather than my own mistakes.
