Weird Glitch when trying to dodge

I just noticed, (and was able to recreate without fail), that if I stand too close to an enemy and try to dodge, (left, right, or backwards) my toon goes into the animation his weapon (he 2-hands a Zwei) being deflected; like off a wall, instead of flipping away.

I loaded up another build and it did not happen, (he uses a long sword).

Someone with a Zwei please try it out.

Are you using the armor of thorns by chance? It happens when you roll into enemies and don't meet the one hand requirements of the weapon you are holding afaik.

He only wears the helm, so it only takes one piece.

But what a strange thing, if you are 2 handing a weapon you can't 1 hand and try to roll away with a thorns piece on, your weapon deflects off of nothing, lol.
