The average is based off of what other players WT's are, so if a vast majority of the online community has a blacker WT then that world will have a dark WT while you are logged on for that session, but it refreshes every time you reload your character save.. so from one day to the next its hard to say.

I think that World 4 has a darker tendency because it is the invasion hot-spot. So when someone dies in their human form due to an invader or dueling their WT goes blacker and so does the average for that world. But I have played with world 4 being almost pure white when the servers were slower and there was less pvp.

You should try a faith build Serious, out of the 4 chars I have made on DeS so far my melee faith support character is my favorite happy

EDIT: thing to make clear, the WT doesnt shift to an average once you start playing your save as soon as you load your game and start playing you are the only thing affecting your World's tendencies, It only shifts back to the average of many players after you relog, not during gameplay.

meh, faith has no attacking spells though does it? (apart from a 3 second WoG, which in my view would be useless)

Think I'll stick with magic hybrid once i know my way around the game better, but I will try a faith build, it'll just be mega on HP regen though. The immortal in Body form... You're right I might enjoy that character silly

thanks for the info, that will be very useful I think when Im getting pole, though i think probably using average tendency will be better than offline for world 3 since I don't really die on it much silly

WoG has it's uses in DeS too, But only if you are in a tight space and your targets running from you haha. In 1-4 a few times I got off a good hit by hiding near the dragon body behind a pillar, the invader ran behind one to heal so I started kiting him around and cast a wog while he was circling to get me. Another kill I got after a backstab when the host was trying to run and heal as well. It's mostly useful for punishing healers.

A few times I chased down some griefers thanks to the Second life spell too, some guy kept invading me and my friend in 4-1 with a scraping spear, so I chased him down naked, while poisoned. I was hot on his heels with about 2 seconds of life left, and when he saw this he stopped running. But, I got a backstab on him and revived due to my spell in time to watch him squirm on the floor. haha.

But I love my faith build more for his Moonlight Great sword, which is SO much nicer in Demon's souls. A nice fast move set that ignores shields. It's just really nice for level running. Mind you you could get the same ignoring shields thing from a weapon called Blind that scales with Intel too, I haven't used it though cause my melee mage uses another weapon

EDIT: anti-magic field can be really helpful too as a melee fighter.

dont think i will ever either, it's low durability coupled with how on demon's everything wears down a lot faster... not enough to get through one level to be honest..

I miss the small things like Stockpile Thomas, and the hall of fame area on the top floor, that place reminded me of the game Medievil.

I miss the relative calm and melancholy of the Nexus. It just has that amazing sort of dark but peaceful vibe (plus phantoms leaping off the top stairs lol). Closest I've found in Dark Souls is the bonfire in the Depths.

The nexus was really nice, well designed, they hit the art direction on the head with that, really unique, that's probably my second reason for returning to Demon's Souls for good.

How than lead from Mildred's main ploy of receiving hate, to nostalgic claims and discussion in a positive output towards Demon's Souls.

I think I may have ruined her plans from this plot she had.

I didn't enjoy the present as much as the past. Now this sounds like timetravel .
