able to use the zweihänder with a strong buff but i'd say man serpent sword would be even better. i'm a bit astonishied how high i managed to get the hp and poise given that he has 40str and 30fth (with 10.8p weight for equipment and a fast roll)

i'd recommend v1 as it offers more weapon variety but depending how much you want that zweihänder to shine v2 could be more to your liking.

Hi, someone please help me fix this:

This is what i'm currently at:

Soul Level :75
Vitality: 30
Attunement: 14 (Magic Barrier, Emit Force, Force)
Endurance: 28
Strength: 24
Dexterity: 24
Resistance: 11
Intelligence: 8
Faith: 18



What i want is:

Desired Soul Level: 100
Str or Dex: Dex
Favor Dmg, Vit, or End: Dmg
How you will use the build: Poke and Roll
Faith/Int? Faith

I would like something that can dig out damage, can survive some hits and has good balance between melee and range. Can use spears, pike, BSS and great sword.
At first i want to take Dex and Faith to 30, but it seems a bit weak so should i just take Dex to 40 and leave Faith at 18 as now?

I know that I want one of the halberds in one slot (and maybe switch to a claymore when needed) and something small and fast in the other slot. What I don't know is whether I should go with a faith or int build and buff with DMB, SB or CMW, go elemental (which would take a ton of farming), or just go pure quality with normal +15 weapons. Also, I'm a bit vain when it comes to armor. I tend to like the elite knight helm/leggings with wanderer coat. I just don't have the time or knowledge to experiment and play around. Any suggestions?

Ahhh, I can't post links yet. I did get 73 poise and fast rolling with the elite knight helm, tattered or dingy robes, gauntlets of the vanquisher, giant leggings, Havel's ring and Wolf Ring.

as i see it you have (a lot of) alternatives:

http://mmdks.com/4eh0 dex fth version, stronger buff but you must unequip both weapons for the flamberge. claw with thorn gauntlets is an awesome support weapon imo, awesome dmg to weight ratio.
http://mmdks.com/4eh6 last but not least, good old quality. this is actually one my most effective loadouts, switching between halberd and claymore on the fly. quality handaxe is obscenely strong (not only as backup) and really underrated.
for you elemental option you have to ask yourself "do i want really high powerded spells in the mix?" because either 50 int or fth is mandatory for such a concept to shine. but well, now that i'm at it i might as well... http://mmdks.com/4eh8 i personally don't like magic below 45dex, too slow to do any good and getting a laggy hit in with such overpowered spells always feels cheap.

Thanks for the reply! The quality build I came up with is actually very similar to yours stat-wise. Although, I'd like to have 76 poise to withstand one hit from a 2h UG and dodge away. To do that I have to use Havel's ring and sacrifice the extra VIT and stamina for poise and equipment load. I've found a couple setups that get me that. Not sure if that's a wise trade-off or not. Thanks for the hand axe suggestion. I also think I'll work on a dex/faith build similar to the one you suggested if I have time. Looks fun.

Hey just came back to dark souls and was wondering what would be a good Faith washing pole build(I know so original right!?), this is what I had in mind. http://mmdks.com/4gc8 lets you keep your miracle selection but the washing pole is merely a buff-vehicle, switch to obsidian greatsword after the buff (or switch to the obsidian greatsword altogether)

Also should drop Darkmoon for another sunlight I know Dark is way better but since great magic barrier helps against it, I don't know and thanks for the help
