im gonna try to completly change up the way i interact with npc's. has anyone ever just said no to everyone? because thats what im gonna do and see if i effect them that much.

yeah i know but im on ng+5 on one toon and ng+3 on another, ive done all the covs so now i just wanna mix up the gameplay

you can keep Almost every one alive by not talking to them

How will you handle lautrec? Let him kill firekeeper and leave him alive? Or other way round? Or just kill him at start? 1 of the 2 is gonna die.

I was going to say the same bout Lautrec, I would preffer to kill him in his world, because actually in that way you did not killed him in "your" world. Its easy to keep most merchants alive, this include spell trainers.

wow i completly spaced on the hole lautrec thing...if someone online gives me the firekeeper soul i can let lautrec kill her and then revive her without killing him!

The real headscratcher to me is Vince & Nico. You could avoid bumping into them I think, but then does Rhea just stay down below too? I guess she'd still be alive though so...win win :-)
edit: I haven't had to kill Petrus to save Rhea before (I usually DO but that's not a requirement), but then again maybe those playthroughs were bugged?

im just not gonna count vince, nico, or cry baby because they turn hollow no matter what and once they are hollow they are no longer npc's in my mind
