What is your favorite weapon in Dark Souls?

So just curious what weapons are being used the most and are prefered by the Dark souls Community. I know I personally am a big fan of Greatswords. I have used all of them atleast a few times. Some of my favorites are Black Knight Sword , Man-Serpent Greatsword and Greatsword of Artorias (cursed). My most used though is by far the Great Lord Greatsword. If you are lucky enough to get someone to trade you the soul in NG , it is just incredibly over powered , considering the low stat requirements. Also the weight isnt too bad at 8 pounds. The Black Knight Greataxe is another favorite , although it is a bit heavy.





Sorry if your favorite weapon is not mentioned specifically. There are just too many weapons to fit into a poll.

Silver Knight Spear

Broadsword.

Cursed GoA. You forgot the Gravelord Sword btw, which is also my 2nd favorite.

Edit: What i meant was why not add the choice of Curved Greatsword, not specifically the gravelord sword.

I love the Murakumo, but I'm starting to fall in love with the Painting Guardian Sword. It has decent damage and it's wicked fast.

BSS and longsword(i like the longsword since DeS)

I can narrow it down to a few....

I'd say either the Estoc, Longsword, or Silver Knight Sword, for PvE, I guess. BSS and Pike for PvP.

My FIRST favorite weapon (I still love it) was the BK Halberd.

My current favorite weapon is the Flamberge, but it won't last. We knew that going in.

Balder Side Sword should be on the list, it is used almost as much as the uchigatana. I really can't answer this poll, because i use about 3-4 different builds. Each one i switch the weapons i use around constantly. Ones that tend to make it into my arsenal the most....Well i don't use any more then another, so i can't say one in particular i use the most.

Demon Great Machete

BSS - I fell in love with this as soon as I noticed it, which was at least a playthru or 2. I love it to fend off invaders and for most PvE.

I'm in love with the curved swords atm. The Enchanted Falchion is serving me well.

The Mura is probably my favorite weapon to use, but I'm starting to like the silver knight sword in PvP too.

I'm surprised that people don't use the Mura a lot, I see a lot more Artorias users which is a bit disappointing. Well at least for me.

The Greatsword of Artorias [Blessed] and Greatsword of Artorias [Cursed] have served me well in pvp. I've garnered around 4mil souls using either or, and about 300+ kills maybe with them?

I really wish Dark Souls had a stat system to say how many kills, deaths, etc. I'd be scared to know how much I died in the Undead Burg against those ebil thief bastards.

We certanly don't need that :| . The last thing I want to see would be this:

total deaths: 560

Bed of Chaos: 40%

Ceaseless discharge: 50%

Parish dragon: 9%

Other: 1%

The Four Kings: 82%

Because I like to solo bosses.

Favorite wep is Moonlight Greatsword. I created a thread awhile back that garnered some attention about it being the best weapon in the game for pvp.

My most used weapon by far is the Claymore for pve and Chaos Blade for pvp

I "like" all the weapons in this game honestly. Have used everything at some point or another. Come DLC I will be focusing more on str builds due to the addition of a certain awesome sword and bow.

Voted for my new love Scythe (NOT the Great Scythe) so one vote for halberd type weapon.
I think the move-set looks pretty damn cool and it fits the looks of my characters that use it.
