I'll be honest, I don't really care for MLP, doesn't help that it's such a majors success and how everyone praises it. The biggest problem is the creepy fans of it, you know the ones. It's your people, you need to keep tabs on them, I know what happens when you don't. (hint hint, it involves said fans stalking voice actors and sending threats for them to remain virgins)

Every fandom has it's autists. Since the ponyfan fandom is the biggest and most current, the bad members tend to stand out a lot. And they're not "Our people". We never asked asked for them, and we'd get rid of them if we could.

Maybe it's just because Im not English native but "autists" here seems really pejorative to the actual autists,just saying it's not the best word,no rage,no flame,end of this point.

I'm not sure about the "biggest and most current" fandom,in rise maybe but "biggest"...meh. I should look for statistics.

And while I kinda agree a few rotten apple rot the basket,unfortunately they have the freedom to express their...well extreme love to the series(although the letters part may be "harassment") but it kinda bugs me when something not suitable(in my opinion) for children are showed and encouraged to children.

But ah well,I don't feel concerned as society right now kinda evolved(in Paris,you can see porn mags on display in the street,there was even a porn shop in front of a school XD)

I'm actually talking about the Seiyuu Idol fandom which has been rising for a long while now. To put it into perspective, a bundle female voice actors/singers (something that recent animes have been blending together [coughharuhicoughk-oncough]) have been labeled as 'virgin maiden sex symbols' (I still don't get the reasoning for it) do to the characters they voice. The companies and magazines actually work to push that image. More than a couple have been stalked and harassed, to the point of lawsuits from both sides for the stupidest things.

I'm not going to treat someone nice just because they share my appreciation of the show. I'm more concerned with how decent of a human being they are than if they share interests with me. And before anyone mentions "Love and Tolerance", let me say that's bullcrap. It was a sarcastic anti-troll motto invented during the fledgling days of the brony community, before it was taken and misunderstood by the vocal majority.

I have 400 general pony pics, 355 RD pics, 77 Gilda pics, 50 TS pics, 254 background character pics and 20 or so DkS/MLP crossover pics. It's safe to say that I'm a fan of ponies.

The Show itself is alright (The first half of Season one was pretty undwerwhelming) and enjoyable, the Dialoge can get really cheesy at times, especially those letters to Celestia . Dont get me wrong i really like the Show, im just not totally obsessed with it.
What really makes me enjoy Ponies like i do now is the Fandom.

The MLP fandom is one of the most creative and friendliest community i ever saw on the Internet, their works, be it Art, Music and even Fan Fiction is of high Quality and they put their hearts into it .

Also OP , if you dont like Ponies. Stay out of the Bronie thread, i never saw someone talking about it on other Threads .
And could you explain your Opinion to us ?
