Lore question about blacksmiths

Does anybody know what the story is with the frozen looking blacksmiths you find some
Of the embers on, in painted wonder, dark root and tomb of giants. Are they Andre or what?

Well, they can't be Andre, because we see him. My best guess is that they were the best blacksmiths of that ember. And some plague went over and killed them. Hence the hollows. But what do I know?

Andre takes all those embers, they are him from another time and place. It is likely he is the God of War, so his age/species is impossible to determine.

I understand the time flow. But how can he be dead in all those place? Yet be alive in the Parish?

Is he dead? Maybe he has a way to assume a new body after an event/destruction of a world that allows him to keep a corporeal form, even if he has no memory of his past lives.

The embers u get from the frozen blacksmiths are the occult and divine embers nothing else, I wonder what that means if anything atall

All the embers you get a embers belonging to the church, i.e. the WoW. One was banished by the church for his heretical ember, the other 2 kidnapped by Seath, to attack Nito, and Nito, to stop Seath stealing it. They are different blacksmiths. That's my take.
Pendant don't speak so absolutely lol, there isn't any proof they are all Andre, and not neough to say he is likely the god of war.

So I was pretty close. I'm now a level 2 apprentice lore dude!
