And the DSS was not underwhelming. It was one of the most OP weapons in the game IMO.

I think they only nerfed elemental weapon upgrade paths like lighting/fire/chaos to encourage weapons with scaling.

Sure. It is my 225 build. There was a 225 FC for a little while, but it seemed to die out; on XBOX at least. I killed with him on there and have done very nicely in the Burg since then.

sl 100 ornstein is hard cause if u just equip full ornstein set with the dss and combine it with rofp and havels u still have to have 46 end to be rolling fast. this applies if the dwgr is nerfed on console, on pc u don't have to worry about that anyway.
i would spend all remaining stat points in vit and screw faith and the faith scaling of the dss cause @ sl100 i think it's not worth it. if there's anything "underwhelming" about the dss it may be the faith scaling.
personally i also think the dss rocks. i'm using it on my faith build and i really really like it.
