    Thats pretty much the idea and i'd like to know who's interested. the original thread is here

    Its not in fight club due to logistical issued but i'll explain in detail. Playes are summoned by host and join a party chat with host, then they agree on terms of bet (currency so far being upgraded/rare weapons, armor, titanite and the consumable souls) and if the host agrees the terms are fair, both parties drop the items and enter the arena and the host awards the items to the winner. Fight club rules unless both combatants agree on a change and sunbro spectators if the hosts connection can handle it. (haven't worked out a sunbro betting system, may or may not if this catches on). As i said i'd like to know who's interested and take suggestions to refine the idea.
    Please note that it is NOT likely this becomes incorperated into fight club due to the difficulty of summoning specific players (those who want to bet).

    Im assuming your on PS3...so maybe I'll start up a new thread for players on XBL...we should collaborate on the rules...
    (I'd like them to be the same for both PSN and XBL)
    sounds like you've already got a great concept already, so will start with that.
    I definitely agree on the host deciding if the betting is fair.
    Maybe the host will decide what kind of betting will take place that round (like "this match will be Armor and the next match could be for Titanite (Slabs will be a special case where both players have to have one to spare and agree to betting it)

    Once we agree on the rules we can post them and then start hosting matches! big grin
    What do you think?

    if others are down for the idea, for sure. i think though, that the host choosing the 'currency' of the match would limit things too much but having preset relative value catagories is a good idea. pm me to brainstorm more though. if this catches on i'll insist on doing it properly.

    You could get a bunch of people on PSN chat and say that the next fight is for "insert item here". Once a Host is chosen, then he summons in 2 or 3 people to fight for the item(s), then gives the item(s) to the winner.

    again as catagories i feel it could work well, ex next match is for 1 a playthrough items, but if the next item is preselected then anyone who doesn't have it cant participate or the items are common enough that why bother. where as coded by rarity fewer people are left out, as an example, i decided my dex build needs an +15estoc, a one a playthrough weapon, if i could bet say sifs soul against one with a tank who switched to the winged spear and wants the greatshield, we could both save hours and if we lose, we're where we started in the first place. or betting things like divine blessings against titanite slabs to save hours farming. what do they want and what are they willing to risk to get it. aggressive negotiations if you will pardon the starwars reference.

    item requirements are a good idea but if they're too restrictive it will cut down the tree the bird is nested in long before its even considered taking off. i'll have to see what i can come up with to get keep things smooth and refrain from alienateing them too

    I agree, but the items need to be predetermined in chat before hand. Also a host can summon and keep track of everything, hold both items, and then give both to the winner. The Host goes to the middle of arena, picks up the items, and as soon as he bows when he gets to the top of the ladder, the match starts.

    I probably wont participate much but I have a few rule suggestions.


    First off the hosts need to be a set group of people. This means that these people won't get much action but it will ensure honesty among hosts.

    Second have a level range set up, it will make organization and summoning easier.

    Third set up rules if you want certain spells weapons or tactics excluded.

    Lastly set up a system to request rematches, report unfair players and unfair refs. Since Items are on the line it'd suck if someone was unfairly beaten and couldn't get justice for it.
