    that's right... our favorite little glitch for pvp is going to need to be updated if it's not getting patched..

    every character build we have will probably need to be modified in some way or another

    new op/imbalanced armor/weapons/spells!

    woohoooooooooo fml.
    ps. we'll all probably have to get the dlc to be able to compete too..

    Haha, not for me happy I do PvP naked so I didn't come depended on the Dark Wood Noob Ring giving me speed and defence.
    Finally justice has seen the light of day and we will see flipping housewifes no more.

    mask of the father, havel legs and gloves, wanderer armor, fap ring/havel, dark hand for a shield.

    don't go over 12.5 weight for weapons.

    the rise of the king baby. the burger king.

    and juutas i like fast rolls. the dark wood loss isn't going to bother me if you're directing that to me.

    anywho, this is gonna feel like back when i had my lil ornstein armor, my darksword and my little darkwraith helmet of pwn on.

    but there'll be no op twop and fog rings! yuss...
    but.. my bbg mule.. on xbox and ps3.. plus dlc for each console if i even bother.. *sobs...*
    so much pve grinding for all my toons..

    I do too, but it kills my str builds so I'm not happy in the least. Unless they lower the weight of str weapons, anything over 10 lbs just had its death scentance handed to it. The mid roll simply doesn't cut it where spears are involved.

    Honestly I think this is one of the best ways From could have brought life back to the PvP scene without making invasive changes to the weapons system

    its pretty invasive indirectly.

    anything that can sit near the outside of fast roll range and hit (spears) is going to take a metric dump on everything unless they're completley naked with a dwgr on but i mean.. i don't think that's really gonna work.

    i mean yeah you still have your spells (pyro in particular) and bows/spears and you can approach them unlocked but i mean.. its just making their life easier in general.

    lets watch them put the scraping spear back in too.. why not.

    new weapons and spells arn't enough? In a broad sense, all pvp in every game is the same. The boredom that necessitates new life is unwarrented, the combat is far deeper than most games get anywhere near. To claim it needs new life is to be spoiled beyond reason, one needs only remember how deep and detailed the combat already is. People are focusing to much on the "negative," and everyone else is paying for it. Slapping the meta in the face with a pillowcase of bricks wasn't the way to go here.

    Im not sure its a bad as that. Maybe its to solve the Roll BSing, and pure spammage of the roll feature in general?

    Sure its a great move to pull in PvP but i reality rolling around in armour is not that easy.... take it froma guy who used to wear chain mail every other weekend..... (lame friend and his medieval tourney hobby)!

    you know what.. they should make fast roll at 50% and put mid roll at 75.
    then just let the dwgr flip the kiddies around at 25.

    seriously, just do that from this is kind of insane.

    no that wouldn't work.. i dont even know how heavy weapons are gonna do anything.
    i should probs take this over to wyrms thread tho.

    no, make dwgr give the player a fast roll instead of a flip at 50%. there. problem solved.

    Maybe they could say fast roll at 33% its only 8% off 25 and still wouldnt be all that achievable to builds using heavy around and massive weapons!

    This is a game with magic viral, realism is a non-issue. Twop was to stop the roll spam, but all the roll spammers complained until it got nerfed.

    If anything, twop lasting the full minuite, but bringing both parties to <75% equip movement would have been a better fix.

    But with Ciaran being included in the game I doubt we will see less Hornet Ring.

    itll be hornet ring/havels/mof now.

    the fast roll is godlike for roll bs'es. plus everyone will be on equal grounds now so it'll probably be even easier to pull them off since everyone will hover at the fast roll range for their roll r1s.

    Aye, like vos. Everyone fat rolls for a minuite. Dodgy, thrust weapon using mo fos get shut down (they temporarily lose their huge advantage over everyone else), but the less dodge happy people can fight on equal terms.

    i think 1 minute is to long.. but having it somewhere close with an added duration from a ring would be choice. so it's like you have to give up your ring slot when theirs becomes useless.

    would be nice if the speed debuff started the same, but with the ring it would make the enemy debuff have a bigger speed penalty.. not a lot bigger, but enough to catch them.

    the cast should stay updated every few seconds with what rings you have on as well. would be pretty pointless if u could just swap it out as u were casting.

    the ring could increase the duration and power of "over time" miracles too so replenishment and other spells similar to that could be effected. would let people make regen builds too which would be neat if they used the other ring as well.


    i dunno i think that'd be cool. just a heavy mofo- full on tank with decent regeneration and slowing abilities for like 30 seconds.. 30-40.. and replenishment would last outside of the twop too.

    would make up for the mobility loss and make faith useful aside from buffs and wotg again.
