For the upcoming DLC

So for long term forum people as well as new found forumers, i would like to know what your plans are for the new multiplayer modes that look like FFA or 3v3 arenas from the pics ive seen as well as the whole new areas. Starting new builds? or going in as your best build? Also, thoughts, do u think this mode will eliminate the 120 usual pvp format? Depending on the matchmaking etc. Also mics will be enabled so it may prove different. Very interesting stuff in my opinion very new as well. Talk to me

Must... save... as a surprise and read no spoilers and play in offline mode when it comes out...

Oh! and on the subject I think this arena thing is gonna be great! Now all the players who like to troll on other players walktroughs can do so freely anywhere and those looking for duels can head to the arena.
Arena is going to do wonders for fight clubs and tournaments.
I'm going to start from the clean table when I get my hands on DLC without bb glitching and probably hop on with my favourite dex/vit/end-build.

So thrilled about this I have no words to describe it.

For my 1st playthrough its a fresh start, no BB, nothing. Online though, not summoning, (at first) but the random invasions by others were meant to be part of the game, i don't like cutting that out. (Except when im just trying to beat a boss im having trouble with like O&S and keep getting invaded on the way there)



The IDEA of an arena just...makes me OMG myself. And the tease of better matchmaking. YES umbasa.

I do remember people complaining a bit about mics awhile back. However the argument was that it took away from the dark feeling of it. What do you think? I think mics are fine via arena personally.

I would want to be able to summon people even in areas that you beat personally, and more support for coop.

I know it goes against the nature of the game, but this is one of the only rpgs that you can even somewhat play coop.

Also, I would love for a more coop game; such as increased number of monsters, or increased health/damage, or something similar.

Honestly, it's up to the developer to decide, BUT having said that, it's just stupid not letting us be in a party with friends outside the game.

I think the mic will be like a usable in game item, like the black soul stone, you use it and the other player uses it to to connect the two games via mic. If it isnt like this it should be :suspect:

i fully plan to use my current build, but won't know for sure till i see what new weapons/armor are in the DLC

I myself am making my character specifically for the new content and whatever it brings. Mind you I do have a back up plan for her. Can't wait for those pyromancies.

I totally want to use my current builds. I'm hearing that the areas aren't friendly to lower lvl builds. The gamespot guy says the area is a pain for anything below lvl60 or so. So with that being said and my builds all being at 50, I'm accepting that challenge!

In IGN they said that new content is accessible after visitin Anor Londo so 50-60~ish would be perfect level to enter the DLC I think.
