by joeclone Mon Aug 13, 2012 2:09 amfirst by the switch where you can look through the wall there was a npc i have never seen before. i looked around when i got there but nothing. Then after i crossed the last bridge it started to turn over while i was on it. i have never seen that before so i assume it was the stranger i saw? anyone know whats going on?

Thats patches, he is mostly always there, a bald guy right? with a crow like nose? He's a bit of a rapscallion.
Somehow I missed seeing him in the catacombs my first time through, but he is the same fellow you meet in Tomb of giants later on.

Yea I never saw him there during my first few playthroughs. I'm not sure exactly what triggers him to move on, but now on all my playthroughs I go to the catacombs early, and he's always there.
