Ive played Dark Souls for 7 months put over 800 hrs into it and completed it many many times and yet it was only yesterday I found out there is a second bonfire in the catacombs lol.

Now I wondering what else I have missed. (Facepalm)

Which bonfire are you referring to? The one where patches operates the push and flips you off?

Yes that one. I only came across it when watching a youtube video of someone invading last night. How did I miss it all this time?

You can actually see it through a crack in the stone at the very first push switch.

I found it when I was rolling away from skeletons because I didn't have a divine weapon, and I was like "OH MAN! OH MAN! OH MA- Hey! Illusory Wa- BONFIRE!"

That's what gave Dark Souls its magic. The level design and secrets shine more than any other component of the game; it feels a bit like a spiritual successor to The Legend of Zelda. After four or five playthroughs, though, I feel like I've found nearly everything there is to see in a Souls game. Not much of a complaint, though. "Hey! This game only lasted me 5 playthroughs and over a hundred hours! It sucks!"
