So.. these four bosses

Dragon God, Old Monk, Storm/sky king (cant remember name), Garl Vinland..

These dudes are totally the four lords of this game right?

havent bothered fighting any of them yet (literally walked in and out of each one, was kinda disappointed i have no more exploration to do till these guys are rotting)

and no spoilers just wanna know they literally like equivalent on Dark?

okay and dont answer this but i saw garl had some girl with him with a shining thing in her hands.. That is blatantly like Seath's crystal (though i hope im wrong the guy looks pretty badass)

edit: ninja'd sounds like im wrong.. oh well back to farming so i can use my shiny new meat cleaver (seriously this thing is most OP weapon i've ever seen..)

I'd accept it as a good weapon being only damage with high scaling physical or only magic with the A scaling and healing, let alone both! look forward to when i got the stats for it

I don't think of them as equivalent to the Lords from a story perspective, but I suppose in practicality yes they are end of the line bosses. Meat Cleaver is one of my favs (Fex too) and it's buffable! Rolling R2 AoE was one o the best ways of clearing a 2v1 plus the tip of the blade has some phantom damage!

Well think about it from my perspective, there's four of them, i have to beat them presumably to open the master fog in world 1 and they got bigged up a load by cutscenes seem similar to me

and sounds like iv picked up a winner. Ill get on messing around with it once i can wield it

You only have to beat 1 to open the fog fyi.

If I may recommend though, save the last part of World 1 for last. It gives you a much better setup for endgame.

There's a ton behind it. You've only seen about half that area. If that much

go for the dragon god first i'd say... he's a gimmick fight. avoid fists and reach the ballista's after that figure it out yourself.

I tried world 1-3 right after I beat the dragon god the first time. Holy hell.

allant is what gwyn should have been.

Allant > Gwyn. Period.

I don't want to spoil, so just look for allant in a wiki and you will see why he is better than Gwyn.

Really, I always did the last of world 1 as fast as possible! Most souls, I think?

From a gameplay perspective, Nito = StormKing (avoiding minions), BoC = Dragon God ('puzzle' fight), and roughly Seath = Garl (weakness on the other end of the arena while avoiding curse/plague) . . . the Old Monk and Allant were without comparison.
From a story perspective, I don't feel they are relative, the end world bosses in Demons were the corruptors of their individual worlds but still in the same vein as the previous demons you fought. The Four Lords are old guys who instigated a rebellion against the dragons.
I miss the Lovecraftian elements of Demons, especially the prominent Yellow theme in Latria.
