what's your opinion on twop+iron flesh

legit or no? just thought about making a guy with heavy duty armor, shield and something to flatten people with a poky swap for if that plan flew out the window.

im sure the build will be horrible, but how fair do you find using twop with iron flesh after a bow?

TWoP is pretty cheap, but it's easy to run from.

Its a good question so no need to erase the thread.. Personally i think iron flesh is only good for facing the 4 kings. Twop is fun when pvping but it easy to avoid. I guess its up to you if you want to use them or not.

Iron Flesh is an essentially useless spell in PvP... because you know how people use TWOP to BS fish? I've never faced a single opponent in all of eternity that won't just backstab me 9 times once i use iron flesh. It doesn't matter that their backstabs only do 120 damage now, it's so easy to get one they will just spam it.

Iron flesh is actually fairly viable for BS fishers I have used it a couple time on my 120 build for testing. You just fight unlocked and with a heavy weapon like Zwei or BKGA and use the horizontal swings. If they do manage a BS it either negates the damage bacuse you hit them at the same time or does next to no damage due to Iron Flesh. Everything in the game is viable and it was put in the game to be used, just no one wants to actually put the effort forth to try stuff.

The problem is everyone likes the most effecient builds or ways to kill people. It's why BS is popular (besides the extra large window) because it is effective, it inflicts high damage with minimal risk. It's why there are so many cookie cutter builds out there.

Try everything people!

Find something you like and use it. Regardless of what others may think about your equipment. Remember it's a game it is supposed to be fun and challenging! Just my 2 cents.

TWoP + anything but BS fishing or spamming spells is fine. Anyone with a brain can block or parry melee attacks for 10 seconds, block arrows and block one hit of a spell or two.

Plus, TWoP casting time makes a dificult spell to use in duels, but its great for invading. Its only bad when used by gankers.

Unless your weapon has wide swing angles, you can't ever get Iron Flesh to work properly. I do use the spell a lot, but i find it useless in a lot of situations. My pyromancer often uses it before going on his killing spree's... it's just one of the least viable spells in the game.

Fair game, IMO. Someone casts TWoP (I assume stone sword) and Iron Flesh, then it is even easier to run away until the TWoP wears off.
