What if you use TCC is 44 still most beneficial?

50 int only exists for Dragon Breath, the amount of extra damage offered to mlgs or a CSS from the extra scaling is small enough that even past 50 I think Vit gives more health than the extra damage you'd gain from a single hit.

As far as PvP goes, White Dragon Breath sucks. So, 44 all the way.

45 for Logan's. You can go 50 if you're using TCC, but don't go 50 if you plan on using Logan's.

Alright, this had been annoying me for some time now, so I decided to look into it. I never trusted online calculators, always prefer numbers gathered by research, so it annoyed me that a tool we rely on so much (mugen) was still not giving the same numbers as those I have gathered. Here's what I found:

    Logan's catalyst @44 Int:
    Me: 230 Mag Adj
    Mugen: 234 Mag Adj

    Logan's @45 Int:
Me: 234 (which is why I always recommended going to 45 Int)
Mugen: 235 (the value I recommend, according to Mugen, is at 44 Int)

So, wanting to find out where the discrepancy was, I looked up values for every Int level and compared with mine. The error is on Mugen's part, and it's in the early Mag Adj values, but it threw off the rest of them.

    25 Int
    Me: 100
    Mugen: 100

    26 Int
    Me: 112
    Mugen: 112

    27 Int
    Me: 124
    Mugen: 136

    28 Int
    Me: 136
    Mugen: 148

    29 Int
    Me: 148
    Mugen: 160

    30 Int
    Me: 160
    Mugen: 165

    And so forth...

The values are all the same, but Mugen skipped one. So if you want the optimal Mag Adj per stat points invested, go for 45 Int. If you just want the minimum required to cast the best spell, go 44.

I find it's not as bad as people say (you get a lot of casts, and it can hit multiple opponents, though its spread and damage are underwhelming) but my problem with it is that I don't have fun using it! So the opposite of you, rant. It's pretty good for connecting hits in PvP, and can come in handy here and there in PvE, but it's so slow to cast and prone to behaving stupidly, that I dislike using it.
