Matters Are Resolved. Hopefully.

A recent issue about me being a ganker and a noob, or whatever else, has come about, but through some well-manored conversations with some people, this issue has hopefully been taken care of. I must apologize for anything that I have started between me and other community members, and I hope that they can do the same. Some of you already have and the matter is behind us now. I am hoping that the rest of you can put this matter behind you as well, and we can all move along to something else. Also, I hope that any other future stories that I bring to you guys will not lead down the same path. I am not, and will never be the best player out there, and I hope that none of you think that you are either. I have learned some things in the past few days, and I will try and work on these things. This does not mean that I will be the most considerate of people out there, but I will try not to use "nooby" tactics. If something like this issue ever comes about again, I hope that all of us will be a little more appropriate about it. This is not meant to call out anybody in any way possible, instead it is simply a way of saying that, in the future, hopefully we can all keep our differences to ourselves. I apologize again for any problems that I have caused, and I hope that everybody can put this issue behind them and we can start off fresh.

It's always best to find the civil solution, and these sorts of things will happen if certain stories are told. To be on the safe side, I wouldn't mention any stories of ganking. But hey, if you manage to dance with a channeler trident by a ledge and someone goes for a roll BS and flies right off the cliff, well that's universally hilarious. It's just best to try and be as far from incendiary topics as possible, it's one reason why we never bring up ___ on the forum. What is blank? No one will ever know! Also, please don't rep down his post just because he ganks. While we may not like it, he's just another guy playing this game, and he's trying to be civil with us. The least we can do is return the favor, and be nice to him.

The fact you had to apologize just for the way you played the game one friggin time doesn't make the community look very civil though..

We generally try to keep the big sticking points out of the threads. I have no idea how others responded to your thread, but even a cursoury glance at a great many threads would likely give the general feelings on the behavior described in your post, before you posted it.

I am not excusing how others reacted, but you did bring the reactions on yourself by deliberately posting a pro-gank statement in a decidedly anti-gank enviroment.

That said, I am a firm believer that everyone can play the game however they wish, its their game.



FYI the beiber ring(dwgr), hornets ring, backstab fishing, dragon glitching, any topic pertaining to honor, and griefing (low sl invasions with maxed gear) are among the things generally not discussed except in a "how to beat______" capacity to avoid huge arguements.
