Then it says you can find him on the bridge after the titanite demon as a hollow assuming you didn't take the shortcut to Izalith which I didn't and he's not there either. Anyone know anything?

I think that's the reason. It was always my understanding that you need to summon him for that fight, and when you walk further in, you see him in the cave by the fire.

Out of curiosity, how exactly do you obtain his armor? When he hollows in the Lost Izalith shortcut?

I'm not sure he drops armor, but on the wiki it said you get his equipment so I assumed he'd drop his armor or something. But yeah he drops whatever he has after you kill him while he's hollow.

I didn't summon him for the Centipede fight but he was waiting for me at the fire immediately. He drops it if he turns hollow in Izalith I believe.

I remember reading a lot of threads about solaire, and the trouble people have had with varying outcomes. I'm not sure if there's any consensus as far as what you have to do. Sort of like Siegmeyer...there are 3 different outcomes to his quest, all hinging just on the order you do things, and the dialogue choices.

Quit reload near bonfire or near titanite demon and see if his stuff appears as a gold item somewhere, he may have died or bugged

I tried reloading at both the bonfire and by the titanite demon, no dice. Also opened the shortcut to Izalith to try that out, nothing either. I did notice that the titanite demon on the bridge respawns after you reenter the area, nice source of demon titanite.

Indeed, but at NG+ he can one shot you with full giants armor and about 40 vit. So I would farm a lot while in NG

well you must have broken his chain at some point i guess, even if you didnt summon him for centipede he should appear in the bonfire past this boss. He is not appearing in all of his usual locations?? Also have you killed bed of chaos?

btw if you end his conversations by walking away or not making him say all his nessasary dialog he will not move to the next spot

but even if you dont talk to him at all in izalith he will still appear in holow form close to the shortcut. tested

when my bro played he didn't finish talking to solar in parish and walked away and he never appeared in anor londo until he finished the conversation

I talked to Soltaire in Undead Parish and used him in Anor Londo, I have not seen him in Izalith/Demon ruins in any of the locations mentioned by the wiki. He is however back in his original spot at Undead Parish.
