by raecor14 Tue Jul 03, 2012 11:42 pmi want to make a new build that uses completely different equipment to what i'm used to and i saw this shield and appart from the stability it looks pretty nice, i have however heard that the lack of stability will make it a 2 hit max shield, its only got 6 less then the grass crest, thoughts anyone?

A great resistor in many except for magivc, but compared to other shields it can be forgiven for that, as the other resistances are 90 for lightning/physical, and 70 for flame. IIRC, Divine Weapons are also resisted as well, if the description is correct.
The use of Magic Shield and Strong Magic Shield might be best to use in NG++ if you expect to get hit by physical attacks. Attacks such as Magic and such are not always stability straining, so it would be best to be used as an Anti-Magic User Shield.
Cool Shield, Great Resistance, Stability is questionable, the Shield speaks wonders in what it holds. It's a good shield, try it out and see if you like it or not. It is the only shield that requires faith, however the 16 faith minimum is also the max for it, as there is no seen form of scaling to it that Faith does.

make it fire and the res are awesome, you should never block more than once with a med shield. if youre gonna tank use a greatshield. it is the best looking shield in the game imo and its really good too.

It's a light shield... there is nothing medium about it, let's be clear here. 
Only the weight says otherwise, but I am sure that a beast of andre's size would say it is a light shield

it has the same parry speed as a med shield which is a shame, that's why i called it a med shield.
