Artorias' left arm Empty Artorias' left arm

Post by Knight Alundil Fri Jun 29, 2012 9:08 pm

Just a quick point I think some people may find interesting and I don't think it's been brought up before, so apologies now if it has.

Artorias' left arm is limp in the trailer, and anyone who has used a two handed GSOA build will tell you; your toons left arm gets hacked up to **** in pve. If im right and this is the reason his arm is limp in the dlc I'll be so happy that the storyline is matching up with a gameplay feature big grin

Look into your diet, and try to do more each day. Really off topic I know but I used to be like that. Drinking more healthily (less fizzy juice more diluting juice and water) helps a hell of alot!

I say it was injured, which is why present artorias seems to have no greatshield.

That's also a good point, why would he two hand it when he has great shield? Hmm. Ah I just really want to get this dlc, and talking about it is the next best thing silly

@joeBroski My mom is vegan because of allergies, she buys the food, nuff said. 😢

@Op, It makes sense for his arm to be wounded, I always though it seemed a little floppy in the video too. Thats just a way to not only make him more rugged, but less OP too. With the shield he would be a lot tougher.

I've been saying this for a while. His left arm isn't injured, it's dead. There's a deep cut on his left pauldron, and his gauntlet is cupped in the same shape a hand would decay as. Too make it even better, in the concept art, under the cloak he has a large cut along his back as well.

well a shield arm would take a pretty nasty beating, plus i bet it has some dark magic stuff about it to compentate(maybe when he gets to mid health dark magic animates the arm allowing him to two hand and double his damage out put)

Ahh. Yes. Maybe in order to make himself stronger, he has to sacrifice his hand. Forcing it to rot and decay, but he can animate it and make it crazy strong.
