billy - I've got about 170 kills with my SL 40 (host kills, not counting phantoms) and 40-50 with my Clay 55. Having fun for sure.

Interesting setups. Why the Longsword though?

use a broadsword dude, no1 ever suspects your gonna beat them down!

I prefer the longsword for the reach and its versatility.

Well, I'm going to retire my SL 40 rapier build. I hit 200 host kills and it is time to move on.

I'm currently doing a Gargoyle Halberd toon. Going to start at level 20 and do a tour or Lordran, slowly leveling up. I'm going to use a raw +5 until I hit Anor, then it is all out (probably be 40-55 at that time).

Gargoyle halberd is ridiculously deadly but it favours elemental due to the crappy scaling. that thing made me feel bad from the damage it was doing.

That's why I'm sticking with Raw +5 for lower levels. I have base stats and you can make a raw +5 easily. So, anyone running around after beating the Gargoyles can easily have it. Fair game, IMO. I'm even using armor that can be found easily at or before the level I'm invading.
