by Rin Wed Feb 01, 2012 12:03 pmso id been fighting the nooby darkmoon dudes just for some pvp and like 50% of the people that invaded me were totally invisible i asked one of the invades if he knew what he was doing and why couldent i see him n he told me its the ring of fog but the fog ring just makes you harder to see so then i summoned a phantom as 2 imposible to see dudes were after me n we killed em n then when the next fog ring user attacked he looked normaly as in what you should look when wearing the ring is this a normal glich that happens all the time???

I've never hosted while this has happened.. but its happened a lot to me as a phantom when people invade, but doesnt register and I am stood there motionless while my host fights an invisible, intangible invader...
Didnt think it could happen to the host, or that the invader could attack the host if that happens..

your talking bout a different glich... the phantoms were invisable n just that i could still hit em n one of them used the grass shield so i could see the buff

To be honest they're pretty similar 
but yeah im not sure it's a glitch as much as the P2P connection just wasnt properly connected or something like that.. I reckon it's just a more extreme extension of lag affects.

On topic, the ring of Fog makes you literally invisible at a CERTAIN DISTANCE, once you get close to the RoF user you should see him normally but still a little bit transparent. Anyway, looks like you experienced a glitch.

I've had this happen to me on both sides. Got mail from a guy that said I was invisible, no RoF or spell. Also saw someone who was invisible and I'm sure it wasn't on purpose since he had HCSM...
