I'll have to do without Dark Souls....

So just got on to Sony help and got myself a PS3, will come tomorrow. However... they can't get out the copy of Dark souls stuck in there due to the type of Playstation and exchange, and the new copy will take.. get this up to 6 WEEKS to come.

Guess I'll go buy some cheap games I should have gotten a while ago like Tekken 6 and Infamous 2 *cries*, or maybe I'll get dragon's dogma to keep me going... hmmm

Something even more hilarious and tempting is for me to sell the new copy of Dark souls limited edition for like £32 or something and just buy a normal one whilst keeping all the old game stuff for like £15, Profit_Much? Overall then me getting dark souls would have cost me a measly £13... though kinda effort just to sell one game on amazon

My Dark Souls withdrawals would throw me into delerium tremens and I would subsequently die. Seriously.

Do you at least have Demon's souls? Please tell me you do! :/

I gave a time to dark souls just to play a little of dragon's dogma, and i felt in love by the game...

Really if put aside all the stupid things your pawns do and the overly rush story telling you will love the game too =)

I made a thread.. My PS3 got yellow light of death, so I'm having to get a new one and a new copy of dark souls (they're giving me it free because my PS3 turned into )

My PS3 has a slight fault on the GPU which kind of gives the illusion that anti aliasing is off when playing games. It doesn't bother me much but I don't want to send it to Sony for replacement/repair because:

1. My PS3 SKU is the one that came bundled with MGS4, and it's the last phat PS3 SKU that was backwards compatible. Chances are if I service it, they will replace it with a slim.

2. Not worth the cost of having it sent for repairs when I can probably buy a BC PS3 from eBay for ~200USD.

But it's a shame you got YLoD, I rarely here stories of PS3s breaking unless they were in a bad environment, like high dust.

Serious get the damn disk out yourself. I did it with my PS3 that broke, it's not hard. Don't give up your game dude, just take the case apart and the disk drive sits right up on top of everything. Disconnect the cable for it and unscrew it. Comes apart in 2 pieces and your disc is in between

I'm pretty sure you can get a used copy at Gamestop for cheap?

$32 last I looked. Not all that cheap. That sucks serious much. Wish there was an easy type of backup system. I'm a computer tech by trade and you'd be surprised how many folks use Windows 7 and DON'T do a system image!!!!!!!!! That's gotta be the greatest part of that O/S, the fact you can make a copy of your system as it sits today in case your drive fails.
