WIKI PVP SPOT

we will poll this in the end but heres what we got

BUTTERFLY MOONPIT - optional boss, nice spot, easy to get to in ng..., pretty high vader traffic but usually good builds.(minus recently)

SENS ROOF - awesome spot, sunny, medium vader traffic, cant progress in game, must open in ng+ to host and get invaded

DEPTHS -optional boss, dirty dirty dirty lol, dont know vader traffic at higher sl., pretty good arena where the giant rat is.

BTOWN PIT - not optional boss, must go to ng+ to open and not progress in the game.

DEMON RUINS - optional boss really unless your going to the kiln... easy to get to if u can warp, vader traffic ??, 1st capra, big easy to get to, b4 centipede, super easy access. also sunlight maggot shortcut is an option.

ANOR LONDO - busy in lower levels, sl 120?, must get to ng+ to host and get invaded. if you invade you may invade 2 or 3v1 in dark anor. not sure of the darkmoon tomb and painted gaurdian zone tho. kazu and i are checking it tonight if any one else wants to join in.

PAINTED WORLD - optional boss, good arena for all builds, not super busy at 120?, can get warp and lord vessel and continue pve. sorry wyrm, might give the LH some more action tho.

DUKES - inside, good area, optional boss really, right beside bonfire, easy enough to get to once youve opened it up...
outside, sunny happy tree land, big area. vaders at 120? ive gone there and waited for awhile.

dont think its gonna be wiki specific, obviously theres lots of traffic everywhere. but a higher concentration of us will be awesome.
soul level might need a poll as well, i am for sl 120 tho. but as any pvp spot there are many soul levels.
i am liking the idea of painted world, but am gonna check out other spots tonight.

we need as many people from this wiki as we can for this to work.

Mofo what about the area right before ceaseless fog, it may seem small but its a larger area then the pit in blighttown. You can warp right to it pretty much, and theres almost never invaders. You can skip ceaseless by rolling through the lava too so it wont effect game progress.

New Londo isn't a bad idea either. All you have to do is drain the water, then take the drop down shortcut and you're in a great rectangle arena.

I invade (datkwraith)constantly in new Londo and Demon ruins, ceaseless fog gate has been best suggestion so far for low vader traffic imo.

Invaders also ALWAYS invade on the other side of the bridge before ceaseless fog, so you certainly have the upper hand. The only downside is that its not completely flat, but thats not such a big deal.

Isn't that area bit small? There's a possibility I can BS you and kick your *** off the cliff. Same for WoG.

its larger then the blighttown pit, and having lava below is half the fun of that area. In my opinion its large enough to fight by the fog to not fall off. I have had a good amount of duels in that area with all types of weapons,spells,miracles,ext. I think its a good idea if we do a poll though, even though the area i would like most likely wont win.

We should probably take a poll of the areas we want to do to see which one people want the most.

Also, if we raised the level cap for the wiki pvp spot gankers would be almost non existent, not to mention you could always notify you friends who are good fighters of the spot. I think 150-160 would be a good level to do this at.

Also, we should probably lay down a couple ground rules at least like no chain BSing and no dragon glitching.

Cool I want to try that. I want to state some pros and cons of the Painted World arena.


Pros:
Huge space round arena.
You don't get summoned nor invaded (extremely rare) by randoms if you drop sign at meeting spot (after shortcut door, near King Jeremiah).
Host gets nice view from above.
Very close to bonfire.
Red Sign Soaptone's home.
Priscy is always an optional boss.


Cons:
Low visibility, dark area.
Stair pillars.
Very far if you are beginning NG or NG+.
Pesky Hollows and Phalanxes @ meeting spot.
Once dueling, invaders can interrupt duels because of high traffic area at 120 (the majority are honorable and wait for their turn).


I think that's all for now.

What if we lower the level cap? This will prevent 120 invasions, make it easier to make a new build and make the builds more diverse. I vote 100

I'm down for fed's idea, let's cap at 100 for more build variety. Only problem is, it makes elemental weapons more viable and people can then gouge HP or Endurance.

@ fruit, i think that area is a bit small. just had a few fights there. it will be on the poll tho. also, you cannot fight in the first capra zone where the lava drained out. only invade on way to bridge to ceaseless, fog door behind you.... and you cant place rss or vade till your past 1st capra, fog door behind closes you in..

1st capra i meant was. from bonfire run down stairs kill taurus, first capra on right. fun spot, not huge, with awesome death fall above lava. just had a few there, actually some good invaders. prob is tho there are lots of enemies in between you and recovering your souls. lol especially in ng++. magoot shortcut too small i think.

we will get to soul level, but.. i like 120 to stay away from hp and elementals. i made a lower level 30/30 build and the elementals are just the same damage. so he got the chop and i went hp elemental.....

We already do **** in PW and Sen's. I'd prefer a new spot. And dropping level caps to 100 is essentially just a revision of the buck-twenty builds most people probably already have, and it'd suck to have to overwrite files and redo builds if you wanted to have more than one to swap between when you've already got 'em.

The large room right before the 1st bonfire in the catacombs is a nice area. Plus if anyone is recording the fights and are on the bone mound watching, it's pitch-black and all you see is the phantoms fighting. Also lowering the soul level cap would be helpful.

once i got parried/riposte three times in one fight. it was awesome!, but about exciting as shuffle on an ipod!!!

this is just a test drive, if 20 people show up....would be so good. the more the better.

I vote Sens and darkroot! We have a lot of guys that can host those 2 places...you guys all know I like to host moonpit and we seem to end up there a lot already?

Any specific area for RSS?

Just beyond the doors? Near turning statue after all the phalanxes are cleared?

If you put the sign outside the arena, closest door to the bonfire, you won't get invaded as much as in the arena. That's the meeting spot I use with my LH, and it's very good because you get the rss fast without interruptions. I can be host tonight if you need.

That's if you don't want to kill Priscy. If you kill her well, the arena is a good spot, but hosts will get constant invasions.

ya wyrm you can host, we'll wait and see how many people show up. im hoping for some random chaos where we are just all invading each other and pullin the signs of who we wanna battle. i wont be on till later as per usual but.. you get er goin thats why i suggested we are all in the arena.
