Starting Class in relation to using Moonlight Greatsword.

hi everyone, I'm planning out a Moonlight Greatsword user but I've yet to decide on the starting class. Something keeps nagging me about sorc and how not to start as one, and I've got so many pyro starting chars that its becomming a single class game lol. Anyway, I was hoping that some Moonlight Greatsword uers could share their thoughts on starting class. My intention is to PvP but I'm guessing the sword is also pretty good in PvE, usual 120~ SL target.

I would take thief and grab the Pendant and master key!

plus you get the bandit knife!

Doesnt matter in terms of stats what you start as too much, just start as a class with the lowest resistance and faith as possible, you can get sorceries later easily anyway.

Yeah there is a perk of being Thief in terms of gear you start with in bandits knife and master key, but in the end it's quite a weak class to start as imo due to bandits not being great early on..

However, if you've done being pyromancer loads i say just be sorcerer anyway, give yourself a challenge will be more fun that way.

just start with the class that will give you the less trouble on reaching the moonlight sword asap. except if you want a challenge

Yup, I'll go with the lowest faith / res i can get, which turns out is sorc anyway, challenge accepted!. Thanks to you and everyone for the quick replies.

Wanderer starts with at least attunment for 1 slot and you can put just one point to get 2 slots, also starts with 12 Int required to soul arrow

just go with sorcerer, youre gonna need a lot of int for it to be awesome.
