This strategy is questionable on NG+. I've found sorcery (CSS, HCSM) to be the most effective strategy. Obviously, that's no help on a melee build.

Yeah, tanking 4 Kings NG+ and beyond is only a good idea if you enjoy the fight so much you want to repeat it endlessly.

WTF you guys talking about. Beat him on my first try everytime using this strategy. This strategy works at least till NG++++. Are you running some kind of low health run or something?

Tanking Kings damage through NG++++? Either there's a child's version of Dark Souls on the market or I'm the worst tank in history. Or we exist in different universes, maybe.

Here's how I do it:
Put on Havel's
Put on Favor and Protetion ring
Use my buffed rapier
kick ***.
This works 92% of the time.

is your havel armor set leveled? Im using black knight armor, most pieces leveled 1/2 way, grass crest shield for stamina boost... and quelaggs firesword

Havel's armor doesn't level. I'm pretty sure all you need to do is replace your black knight armor temporarily for the Havel's and you're good to go.

The buffing explains it more than the armor. Buffing destroys the kings. Especially Sunlight Blade and the DMB.
