Pyros and Miracles from a sorc catalyst

Just encountered a player in the berg who was holding a tin crystal catalyst. She goes to cast a spell and to my surprise a chaos fireball come flying out of the catalyst. I stood in disbelief for a few seconds then take a soul spear to the face. I then rush her and she cast again, this time wog comes out. I died.

Am I missing something about the catalyst or is this just a new mod? If it is a new mod its cool as hell but still I hate modders.

Note: the fireball flew in a straight line and as fast as a soul spear. There was no arcing motion or longer cast time as if it were thrown with a flame.

you can use gwindolyns cat to cast miracles too. i dont know if that helps.
