When fighting mages, have someone ever tried to just wait until they’re spells run out? I have never done this, i usually just rush them. Does this work?
Don't get lure into tight spaces.. keep yourself in the open so you can dodge easily.. obviously you need to be 25% weight and below to make dodging a breeze..
Charge in/roll in when opportunity allowed, but don't be shy to backoff.. Patient is the key to win for both side.
The game normally ends when the caster make a wrong estimation on your distance..
And don't expect them to ran out of bullet.. they rarely do..
Honestly I don't remember any Wizard that ran out of spells and chase me with a Rapier... I've to stick my Zweihander on their shoulder twice (i love hornet ring animation) to quiet them permanently..
The only type of player I would wait for them to run out of spells is from Darkmoon..
If i see someone dodging all my spells i stop casting and start smacking em with my MLGS, so i dont think you can run em out of spells lol. maybe a really bad mage i dunno. And usualy when i stop casting the guy with the bkga comes rushing in and i just parry riposte him for the kill .
Stand at about a roll's distance away. When you see they're going to cast it, immediately roll directly into them and lock off. When you finish the roll, turn around and BS. Practice on some silver knigjts in Anor Londo. Roll BS is useful in a lot of situations.
