I usually toss DMB on a straight sword or thrusting sword myself though a greatsword(not ultra) should prove effective as well. Curved swords and katanas seem especially devastating with buffs from my experience fighting against them; parrying is usually the best solution but is risky in itself as if you miss the timing you could pay for it in the form of massive damage.

Spent my first evening last night dishing out justice to the villains of Darkroot Garden, in full Silver Knight gear and DM buffed Uchi+15. Too many of them failed to bow at the beginning. Most of them perished.

Sorry thats Zack. PM him if you have not already, he responds to those quicker. In addition to that, the Claymore scales better than the greatsword (C/C to C/D). The claymore loses that benifit if it is made chaos. It's not much, but it's yet more that's on the side of using the claymore for DMB.Servant of Priscilla wrote:OK sweet thanks Joe

Just... just DMB the claymore. if someone gets hit with the greatsword they should be dead barring a toggle escape anyway. meanwhile a DMB claymore is deadly as hell.

EDIT: Oh, and loving the damage increase that the DM buff has brought to my Uchi+15.....2handed in the Forest and it's proving pretty deadly, even though I've noticed this weekend that *nobody* bows in there. Barely got time to apply my buff before I'm being attacked, often 1v2 as well...3 swings of the Uchi and they're usually toast though
