Perhaps Commander Allant is right. Although the ideals spoken scream heresy, I feel there lies truth in it. I fear an end to balance. The pendulum swings too far, for we the sworn warriors of light may well feel triumphant in the dispatch of the Dark in such overwhelming odds, but what is there to distinguish the light if shadow is no more? There must be a balance of light and dark, for life and death, for heat and cold. For either to be extinguished, it may well end us all.
