Two possible builds to go for...

Well I've decided to put my sorcery build on hold, as my friend just got the game and we've decided to do a co-op run together that ultimately culminates in PVP characters at 120.

The two characters I've thinking about building are kinda similar, but there's a few key differences.

Dark Wraith Hunter build:

I definitely want to use Iaito and the Dragon Slayer Bow, but I'm open to switching up the armor, shield and the secondary weapon. I don't want to use sorcery or pyromancy.

Which build should I choose.

Dark armor has better stats over all, but I love the eastern armor way to much. Eastern all the way!

Yeah, I like the look of the Eastern as well. Question, if I use Server or Marukumo, is Iaito neccesary, the reason I like Iaito is for it's fast swing speed, but I've never used a Curved Greatsword so I don't know how fast they swing, are they fast?

First swing is slow but from there it is pretty quick. one of those deadly if you get caught things... I'd say keep an Iaito in the build.

Eastern hunter looks cool but I'd use rather normal +15 Murakumo rather than lighting Server.

I was thinking of dropping Server and putting in a Plus 5 Lightning Claymore, because I really like the moveset.

I originally put Server in there because it weighed less, but you know what...if I'm gonna be carrying around a DS Bow, I can just carry a claymore, less weight.

When I carry Marakumo around I'll just have a composite bow.

A question, does giving a bow an elemental upgrade path influence the arrows?

Eastern Hunter is just more unique and looks more fun than the dark wraith hunter build.

make the clay +15 with a 40/40 build that hing will hit harder than lightning.

You dont need the Ring of favor and Protection since Katana arent weapons that use alot of stamina.. and your dont need 40 STR since with 34 Str when two handing you can wield weapons that require 50 Str Also with when two handing you get 1.5 boost to Str lvl so 34 would be like 50 str and since scaling practicly tops at 50 its pointless to go past 34 unless you want to always wield you weapons 1 handed.

with this you would still have 7 Sl points to move to where ever you want.

I added the Grave lord miriclas since they have no requirements to use them and the match the death theme. the talisman has the highest adj ment vaule( for dmg) for low lvl faith as well as one of the lowest requirements to be able to use.

If want more variety and effectiveness then put the next 7Sl points in Attunment and use those for Pyro. and just switch out the Grt Bow for pryo glove. when you want.

Ps. I switched out the gauntlet for Havels because it bings your total Poise up to a more viable pvp number (and it goes good with the armor)
