Dragon Body/Bow Gankers

So I play as a forest hunter a lot of the time just for practice and whatnot but recently and especially today it seems full of dragon body/offhand bow people. I've killed a few of them but when it's 2 on 1 it gets a little difficult. I know it's the forest and anything goes but it's an obvious bug...

Anyone think From will ever patch this?

They're more than likely a bit busy working on things involving the PC edition, unless most of that is sorted out and polished. I'm not entirely sure, there are a few balances and patches that are needed but there is always the issue of a patch bringing up another issue. Balancing is always a painful process to go through when setting up any game.

I guess that I can count myself lucky because I've not once - unless my memory is failing me - run into this type of player. What exactly happens that drives everyone so mad?

wouldn't make a huge difference anyway. With no weapon of any kind, and the hring, pw, or the rtsr in any combination of 2, they can 0hko bs you anyways

OHKO Backstabs, mostly abusing lag which not everyone is great at countering. As well with the dragon head you can stun a person then BS them, so it's a tactic that is very easy to do and will kill most players while using an unintentional glitch. A glitch that remember everyone, is not to be detailed.

Out of about 10 forest invasions today, all were gankers but two in particular were a pair of guys both setup dragon wielding a bow, one guy with the fog ring on...

Nearly killed one of them and the other came out and BS'ed me.
rapier > trying to wog with no poise
and he gave up on b stabbing after a bit (which was when he tried wog)

If they don't have a body glow from the wolf ring you can stagger them with a single hit, so wide arc weapons (gs and ugs) saves asses from dragon fists.

Yeah each time I killed the summoned guy with MLGS, but the other guy ended up one shotting me both times right as I was finishing him off.

Do you have any spells? Homing soulmass will deter most from going directly at you. Force is also an option if you have ANY faith at all.

Awh man. yep same pair same scenario. I guess that means we are in similar level brackets Ill have to see if I can 2v2 them later C: (assuming I dont get back too late) Keep on hunting!

I enjoy killing them but it's really not much fun since they aren't really interested in a real fight at all. 2v2 would be fun since they would go down in about 5 seconds.

Ahh well I hope the matchup puts us on the same invasion at some point
+ dragon body does not have much of an advantage against me since most things drop me in 1-2 hits

In this kind of situation I just run away and BC out.. No souls for gankers lol
